Dear users, dear authors,
how are you? How’s it going? What are you up to?
What’s for lunch?
What’s the weather like?
Do you have any craft goals or weekly plans?
Let me know.
Dear Josefa and everyone else, it snowed here overnight—everything is white and dreamy. My dog would normally love this and be romping and playing in the snow if he weren’t sick. For lunch today, I’m just having tea with lemon—partly because I’m so terribly cold (despite the heating), and partly because I can’t eat anything anyway. My son is at university now; he’ll get something to eat there.
My only plans for the week are to somehow get through it, get well, take care of my dog, and maybe finish writing up a pattern.
My parents are visiting today, so I’m off duty with Anton. :-)
Right now I’m cooking potatoes. Tonight we’re having meat rolls with homemade croquettes.
In a little while, I’ll be making pasta with bell pepper and chili sauce for my parents.
I’m going to do a little housework next, and maybe I’ll be able to do some crocheting while my parents play with Anton.
We’ll see.
Today I had a rice stir-fry with vegetables and chicken—just add everything to the pan bit by bit and let it cook, then season it with herbs. It’s simply delicious.
I’m not quite sure yet what I’ll be working on this week—it depends on what appeals to me and what I’d like to have.
Since we’re currently having UFO Week here, I worked on my little cuddly bear today. I managed to finish two hind legs. Phew, crocheting with plush yarn is a real challenge. I’d like to have him finished by Thursday, and I’m already looking forward to cuddling with him. :)
For lunch, I had vegetables and potatoes from the Thermomix, served with a delicious mushroom sauce.
I’m happy to be healthy and well, and that I currently also have some time for needlework.
Lunch on Mondays: usually leftovers from Sunday. Today: leftover Brussels sprouts risotto, with a few boiled carrots and, of course, salad.
Right now it’s snowing heavily again, but it’s pretty wet. Everything was already white this morning.
Weekly plans: First, I want to finish the poncho: just one more round to go, then a round around the neckline, and unfortunately lots and lots of loose ends to weave in… Next up are the wrist warmers, a tissue pouch I’ve already started, and then we’ll see. There are plenty of plans!
