Hi there. I’m working again today, and we’re having pizza.
It’s cold here, but the air is really fresh. 

Here’s a glimpse of beautiful, wintry Hamburg. I snapped this this morning.

I spent a wonderful afternoon with my grandson. We had to go shopping. He wants a Yoshi (dinosaur), and we needed stuffing for it. We went to a total of three playgrounds. So the afternoon was a success.

Now I’m getting back to my crochet project and drinking tea to warm up again. We don’t have any snow, but it’s very cold with sunshine. If the weather stays like this, I’m happy.

We’ll see what else the week brings — I’ll just wait and see.

Craft goals: First, I need to finish the Yoshi. Then I still have a shawl lying around and a hat I’ve started. So this week, I’ll mainly be working on my UFOs.

 

Kicking off the week with “energy”? How does that work? For me, it’s more like being reluctantly dragged into it… the weekends are getting shorter and shorter…
Freezing cold but sunny—I think it’s wonderful.
Today we’re having potato gratin.
My craft goal for today: threading elastic through a hat band—the hat keeps slipping.
The full moon is so beautiful right now!

Here, the week is also starting off bitterly cold, but dry so far. Snow is forecast for this afternoon—I’m curious to see if it actually happens; so far, we’ve been spared that.
For lunch today, we’re having chicken soup with ginger—it’ll warm us up, and since everyone has a cold again, maybe it’ll help a little.
Right now, I’m still “test-knitting” the socks for mowi19, and on the side, I’m continuing work on my coat.

Weather-wise, it’s pretty cold.
The sun peeks out now and then.

For lunch, I’m having pan-fried potatoes with mushrooms and arugula.

Craft goal: keep knitting my patterned sock.

Lunch today—stir-fried vegetables.

Craft goal—keep crocheting my amigurumi; I’m already about halfway done.

For us, the weekend was all about sports. I do a lot of it, and I really enjoy it. Studying with my son was also on the agenda, and we had to end the day on a cozy note with a glass of wine and my knitting in hand.
Today we had salmon with couscous and vegetables, and my crafting goals for this week are to finish a shawl and complete the baby cardigan I’ve started. 

At the moment I'm cheating on my yarn... that's probably because I decided to finish my tunic first and not start anything else before then... but I don't really feel like doing that right now. So I only ever do a few rows and then toss it back into the corner... and prefer to craft with some of the little bits and pieces I've accumulated.



I'm also enjoying the great weather right now, after weeks of gray skies and constant rain here in the Ruhr area....

I’m also realizing right now that I actually take a lot of photos and really enjoy it… but when it comes to the pictures for the patterns, I still can’t seem to get them just right (for my own satisfaction). Why that is, I have no idea…

I still haven’t managed to thread the elastic through the hat :(
I guess I have too much choice when it comes to hats.... 

Here, it’s wonderfully dry and cold. I love it! Much better than that dreary weather. Plus, I like to hang my laundry outside in the dry cold—it makes it wonderfully soft.

I also put textiles that can’t be washed—like large pillows and upholstery—out on the balcony at night. That kills the dust mites.
