have a great weekend, everyone. Do you have plans for the weekend?

Hi,
I’m meeting up with some friends tonight. I’m really looking forward to it.
The rest of the weekend will be pretty laid-back. Anton’s still feeling a little under the weather. We just went for a walk in the snow, and now we’re cuddling and playing 

I’m using the weekend to knit and write patterns. And I’ve already got a new pair of socks on the needles—I’m really into socks right now. It’s going really well with my newly developed simple heel. :)

The weather is perfect for a walk, and I’m going to enjoy it. 

I’ll probably spend the weekend at the sewing machine, making Carnival costumes for my granddaughters, who love to dress up. When it gets too dark to sew, I’ll keep working on two crochet patterns.

We went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch today, then drove down to the Elbe and took a lovely walk. Crisp, cold air and bright sunshine—it’s so much fun.

Since the sun is supposed to shine here all day today, we’re going to go into the garden and trim the trees and shrubs, and tidy up a bit in the garden shed.

I think I’ll finish my dress today.

Now I’m trying to make my idea—to compile a few of my patterns into a little book—a reality.
Whether this idea will turn into something tangible is still anyone’s guess, even to me.

Yesterday we had a really quiet day. I’m about to send my boys over to Grandma’s so I can clean. It’s easier to clean alone... even though Anton likes to help

I never make specific plans for the weekend, because my husband still works shifts, so our weekend depends on his schedule. But “boredom” is a foreign concept to me—I’m currently in the process of redigitizing my lion’s head, because it wasn’t easy to embroider the way it was. So here’s to a fresh start—time really does fly by when I’m working on this; I’m always surprised when evening rolls around again.

I’m having a very relaxing day today—a little crocheting, a little knitting, a little napping… My son is spending the whole day at a friend’s house, so I have the apartment all to myself. Later, I’m going to treat myself to a beauty and relaxation session in the bathroom—I need that every once in a while.

I was in a panic yesterday...

I wanted to do something on my computer... it’s booting up sooooo slowly and rattling like a sewing machine... I start, and then the message “Storage full, cannot save” pops up... PANIC!!! Turned the computer off, turned it on.... it won’t boot up anymore!!! MORE PANIC!!! All my patterns... the photos... Aaaahhhhhhh!!! Theoretically, I know everything is well backed up, but still...
Phew, I’m so glad my sweetheart has everything under control.
The computer has been reinstalled and the backup restored. I have the very best sweetheart in the world!
The weather here is sunny again for the first time in a long time, so I’m definitely heading outside right away!
