“Seray” is a female turkish prename. It means “as beautiful as the moon”.

The shawl is knitted top-down and finished with a lacey heart border which makes it an absolutely eyecatcher. With iridescent yarn the shawl can also be worn as an luxury evening stole.
The size is variable according to the chosen yarn.

Needed materials:

• Approx. 100- 150 grams [3.5 - 5.29 oz] of laceweight yarn (approx. 800 – 1000 meters / 874 – 1093 yards) or approx. 200 - 250 grams [7.05 - 8.81 oz] of fingering weight yarn (approx. 840 - 1200 meters / 918 – 1312 yards)
• Circular knitting needle size 3 -4 mm (US 3 – 6)
• Stitch marker to mark the middle stitch
• Sewing needle for weaving in ends

The pattern runs 5 pages, it contains charts (no written pattern!) and a schematic.
