A pair of fingerless gloves with decorative little holes.
They are worked sideways in a fingering weight yarn. The back of the hand is covered by those decorative little holes, whilst the palm is worked in garter stitch. It is a very easy pattern. No thumb shaping is required.

Difficulty level: Advanced beginner (the most difficult part is to make stitches from a gap that is several rows below).
k: knit
p: purl
sl: slip
garter stitch: all rows: slip 1, knit to end of row
BO: bind off
di: double increase: insert right hand needle into the gap created by binding off 3 rows below, lift the three strands up to your left hand needle. These strands will be your next stitch. Purl 1, knit 1 into these strands. (See tutorial).
Gauge: 26 stitches/38 rows in pattern = 10cm/4in.
