Fingerless Gloves Knitting Pattern "Emmentaler Fingerless Gloves"

Product description

A pair of fingerless gloves with decorative little holes.

They are worked sideways in a fingering weight yarn. The back of the hand is covered by those decorative little holes, whilst the palm is worked in garter stitch. It is a very easy pattern. No thumb shaping is required.

Skills Required / What You'll Receive

The pattern is written and includes a photo tutorial and chart for the stitch pattern.

Difficulty level: Advanced beginner (the most difficult part is to make stitches from a gap that is several rows below).

  • k: knit
  • p: purl
  • sl: slip
  • garter stitch: all rows: slip 1, knit to end of row
  • BO: bind off
  • di: double increase: insert right hand needle into the gap created by binding off 3 rows below, lift the three strands up to your left hand needle. These strands will be your next stitch. Purl 1, knit 1 into these strands. (See tutorial).

Gauge: 26 stitches/38 rows in pattern = 10cm/4in.

18cm (7 1/4in) in circumference, 15cm (6in) in length

Yarn: Four Seasons Gründl Hot Socks Print (75% wool, 25% nylon; 210m/50g; 230yds/1.76oz), 1 ball. Sample used 88m (97yds).

Needles: 3mm/US 2 1/2

Die Anleitung ist okay und gut nachvollziehbar. Jede Reihe ist einzeln Masche für Masche beschrieben. Mehrere Maschenproben waren aufgrund großer Abweichungen nötig. Für den Preis fehlt mir eine Großaufnahme der Stelle des Anfangs der Arbeit, der Mittellinie und der Ecken, sowie eine Schemazeichnung. Beim Stöbern bin ich im Nachhinein auf eine ähnliche, kostenlose Anleitung gestoßen.
