This amazing set constisting a scarf and a hat, withstands every snowstorm and cold winter.
It keeps the wearer dependably warm and can be worn in versatile ways. The pattern stitch is reversible.

The cable pattern from the scarf repeats in the hat.

The hat is knitted in back- and forth rows starting from a provisional cast-on. The stitches of the cast-on row are later grafted in kitchener stitch to the last row so there is no visible seam.

The set can be knitted of any snuggly winter yarn in sport, DK, worsted to bulky weight.

Needed materials:

• approx. 200 – 300 grams of yarn for the scarf
• approx. 100 grams of yarn for the hat
• circular or straight knitting needles (I recommend to choose one needle size larger than it is noted on the ball band)
• kitchen scales
• 2 stitch markers
• 1 cable holder
• waste yarn
• crochet hook for the provisional cast-on for the hat

To turn the scarf into a loop you need 4 buttons. I recommend to buy the buttons bevor working the button hole, because its size has to be adjusted to the actual diameter of the buttons.

The pattern runs 10 pages and contains charts, a written pattern and schematics.
