The pattern is written in English, using American crochet terminology, and includes US/UK conversion charts for both stitches and hook sizes.
It is full of hints, tips and photos that help you along the way.
For beginners instructions of basic crochet stitches are provided.

The head and body are made as one piece, the arms and whiskers are inserted along the way. Everything else is sewed on separately.
I have used a fishing line for the whiskers and two small buttons to attach them securely inside the head.

Difficulty Level: advanced beginner.
Skills required are sl st, sc and increase/decrease sts.

Finished Size: if done with Cotton Fingering yarn, 2.5mm hook, it is 21cm (8.2”) high and 10cm (3.9”) wide with arms along the body. This may vary depending on the yarn and hook size you decide to use.

Cotton Fingering / 4 ply. Usage based on
1 Ball = 50g/1.75oz - 155m/170y.

Cat: 42g (1.5oz) blue
Muzzle: 6g (0.2oz) cream
Nose: small quantity of pink
Mouth and nose: small quantity of black embroidery floss
15mm safety eyes
Two buttons, 1cm (0.39”) diameter
0.5mm black fishing line
Fiberfill
2.5mm crochet hook (US B/1 – C/2)
