Cupid. Free pattern

Materials:
- Beige colour yarn of your choice (acrylic or cotton). I used acrylic yarn, 438 m/100 g. Cupid's height is 7 cm.
- A small amount of red, white, brown yarn of the same thickness
- For hair - fluffy yarn, slightly thicker than beige. I used Khlopok Travka by Kamteks (220 m/100g). 
- A crochet hook, I used 1,25 mm crochet hook
- Hollow fiber for stuffing
- A piece of wire approx. 1,0 mm thick and 00 cm long 
- For the eyes: 2 half-beads, I used 6mm diam half-beads and white piece of felt
- Transparent glue
- A sewing needle, matching sewing threads
- Black, brown colour embroidery yarn/thread
-  Toothpicks
Abbreviations:

Hair
Crochet with fluffy yarn

Fasten off, cut off.

Sew the hair to the head. Brush them with a Hook & Loop tape.

Fasten off, cut off.
Sew the ears on. 

Foot (make 2)
Ch 5 
1) from 2nd ch from hook: 3 sc, 3 hdc in the last loop, continue along the other side of the chain: 3 sc (9)

Fasten off, cut off.

Sew the foots on. Embroider the fingers with brown colour yarn.

3) from 3rd ch from hook: 2 hdc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc, 1 sl st, 1 ch, turn (7)
4) 1 sl st, 2 sc, inc, 2 sc, (leave the last stitch unworked), 4 ch, turn (7)
5) from 3rd ch from hook: 2 hdc, 3 sc, inc, 2 sc, 1 sl st, 1 ch, turn (10)

Sew the wings on.

Face Decoration 
Take a pair of half – beads or ready - made eyes. Take a piece of white felt and cut out 2 circles to make the whites of the eyes. They should be slightly larger in diam than the beads. Glue the eyes on. Make sure the side of the white felt is showing. 

Embroider the smile and eyebrows with black thread, nose – with beige thread. 

Quiver
Work with brown colour yarn.

Do not cut the thread!

Crochet the strap: crochet 30 ch, work 1 sl st in point 2 (it’s located at the bottom and diagonally from the beginning of the strap)
Fasten off, cut off.

Bow and arrow
for the bow: take two pieces of wire, approx. 6cm long, bend them as shown on the photo. Tie a piece of thread to make a bowstring. 

Cut 6cm long pieces from red colour yarn, make six for each arrow. Tie them around the tip of each toothpick as shown on the picture, make sure the knots are as close to each other as possible. 

Spread some glue onto the knots and pieces of yarn. Position the ends upwards and leave them to dry. Trim once they are dry. 

Arrowhead - optional 
Make a heart with red colour yarn.
1) Ch 3, starting from 3rd ch from hook: 2 hdc, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 2 hdc, 1 ch, 1 sl st (9)
2) 3 sc, in 1 loop: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, continue: 3 sc, 2 sl st (11)
Fasten off, cut off.
Glue the arrowhead to the arrow. 

Cupid is completed!
