Brooch “Hydrangea”

The size of brooch is approx. 7cm × 5cm

Materials:
Thin yarn 600 m / 100 g,
Colours: beige, blue
More thick green yarn for leaf 450 m / 100 g
- a hook
- sewing threads

- bead wire approx. 20 cm
- wire for stem approx. 12 cm
- thin plastic or cardboard 5 cm х 5 cm
- some hollow fiber
- fastener for brooch 2,5 - 3 cm

Flower
Crochet with blue yarn.
1 rnd. 6 ch, in the third loop from hook 2 dc, 2 ch, 1 sl st, *in next loop 1 sl st, 2 ch, in this loop 2 dc, 1 sl st*, repeat from * to * 2 times. Connect the last and the first petals with sl st. Cut the thread.
Crochet 25 - 28 flowers.

Crochet flowers to base detail № 2, in the middle crochet blue or white beads.
All the tips of the threads pull with the hook on the wrong side.

Leaf
Crochet with green yarn.
1 rnd. 8 ch, from the second loop from hook 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, in last loop 3 sc, further along the other side of the chain: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st, ch, turn (15)

Lay a thin bead wire on the edge of the leaf, leaving a tip about 5 cm long. Tie the detail, grabbing the loops and wire at the same time. On the other side also leave the tip of the wire.
2 rnd. inc, 6 sc, in 1 loop: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, furher: 6 sc, inc (19)

Connect the end and start of crochet with sl st. Cut the thread, leaving a long tip for next.

Twig
Fold the wire in half, leave one loop for sewing on one end. Brush with glue, wrap with green yarn. Attach the leaves. Wrap the yarn again. Glue the tip.

Cut from thin plastic or cardboard a base of the brooch. Sew to detail №1 a fastener and a twig for a loop.

Fold both parts. Stitch the edges together. Insert inside a plastic base and some hollow fiber.

Brooch is ready!
