Hardworking little helpers: How’s it going?

Anton has a cold with a bad cough. He was very clingy and in need of cuddles all day. Just to be on the safe side, we took him to the doctor to have his lungs checked. Everything’s fine, but the day went by really fast. Now we’re watching the Handball World Cup, and I’m crocheting another giraffe—this time for a friend.

Wishing Anton a speedy recovery.

Sandra, I’m wishing Anton a speedy recovery, too. He’ll be okay again soon. What he needs right now is your closeness, and you’re giving him that.

I’m busy knitting socks using my new heel method. It’s working great, and I’m getting through quite a bit of (unloved) sock yarn.

Thank you so much. His fever’s gone down today, and he’s already up to more mischief. :-) The cough is still there, though, and his nose is running, and he’s seeking my company... but somehow that’s nice, too. That’s not really like him. :-)
Now he’s asleep, and I’m about to start crocheting a birthday gift for a friend. She’s getting socks in the same colors as the baby blanket I crocheted for her. :-)

Sandra, your friend is really lucky that you crochet such wonderful things for her. That’s a huge sign of appreciation.

I can say from my own experience that good friends are something truly wonderful—something no amount of money in the world can match.

Yes, good friends are important. :-)
And I especially enjoy crocheting for this friend because she really appreciates it. She’s done a lot of craftwork herself. She prefers sewing, though—crocheting takes too long for her :-)))

Well, that’s a great way to share ideas when everyone’s doing something different. Awesome!
