In the mood for spring?
These beautiful flower-shaped crocheted egg cozies bring spring right to your breakfast table! Daffodils, snowdrops, tulips, and bluebells aren’t hard to crochet and require very little yarn (for one egg cozy, just 20–30 g of one color plus a scrap of green). I recommend cotton yarn with a yardage of 125 m/50 g (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr).
In the 11-page pattern, you’ll find a detailed description of each step and plenty of pictures.

If you still have some glitter yarn left over from Christmas, you can crochet an off-the-shoulder cocktail dress for your daughter’s or granddaughter’s Barbie doll. The “fur” at the hem gives it a particularly extravagant look. To match, Barbie wears an elegant hat and a silver clutch.
For the dress, I used “Glitter” by Gründel. It’s a lurex yarn that’s quite soft and supple. The furry hem was made with Brazilia by Schachenmayr, but it also looks very nice with the slightly stiffer sponge yarn “Creative Bubble” by Schachenmayr.

An absolutely wonderful beginner project is this cowl / shoulder warmer. All you need is one leftover skein of cotton yarn, and you’re ready to get started.

The special thing: You can also knit it as a baby skirt and wear it yourself later on. ;-)

Prom – This is a crocheted triangular shawl with a pattern that repeats over two rows.

The shawl is started at the tip, so the size is adjustable. For this shawl, I used 150 grams of Schachenmayr’s Tahiti yarn.

The pattern is written in detail, and plenty of pictures will help you make the shawl.

Knitting Pattern for Baby Shoes

These booties are knitted with a set of double-pointed needles. Thanks to the high cuff, the booties stay on the baby’s feet and aren’t easily kicked off.

You should know how to knit and purl and have some practice with a cable needle—then these booties can be knitted quickly from just a few grams of yarn.

Here you’ll find the pattern for the booties

Winter is far from over, but honestly, I’ve had enough already – I want it to finally be warm and sunny again. If it’s getting harder for you, too, to stay in a good mood, maybe crafting this little flower basket can brighten your spirits?

This little flower basket is made from photo cardstock and measures approx. 14 x 21 x 19 cm. The flowers are made from photo cardstock and crepe paper. Both the basket and the flowers are very easy to craft.

Even after Christmas, you’ll still have a lovely decoration with this snowflake-shaped tealight holder.

Not necessarily a beginner project, but very doable if you already have some first experience crocheting double crochet stitches.

It uses very little material — 10 g of cotton yarn, e.g. Catania or a similar yarn, is enough for one tealight.

You can find the pattern here.

These cute earrings with little angel wings are quick to make and an absolute eye-catcher. Wonderful for using up leftover yarn.

Here’s the pattern

You’ll receive a detailed PDF pattern with numerous
step-by-step photos, making it easy enough for beginners, too. The wings look very pretty from
both sides (the back almost looks like stockinette stitch
— see photo).

Crocheted triangular shawl "Flowerstripes"

--> Go to the pattern here

An eye-catcher that practically crochets itself, because the super-easy pattern consists of only 4 rows and doesn't require much prior knowledge. The sideways flow of the colors immediately catches everyone's eye and makes it a must-have among shawls.

You can crochet it to any size, since the pattern repeat keeps repeating and the shawl automatically gets a little wider in every row.

Here you will receive a written version as well as a crochet chart and a few pictures that support the pattern.

Difficulty level: Easy

What you need:

One approx. 300 g gradient yarn cake, 4-ply (300 g = approx. 1500 m yardage), recommended hook size 3.5

Since this stitch pattern uses up a lot of yarn, your yarn cake should have at least 1500 m of yardage, preferably more, so it turns out nice and large.

Size: 1.75 x 0.75 meters with just under 1500 m of yardage

What you need to know:

chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, double crochet, clusters (3 dc worked off together)

If you'd like to get ready for spring despite the cold, you can make this absolutely spring-themed decoration.

This tea light holder is made from cardstock and measures approx. 15 x 5 x 13 cm. With a little experience using a craft knife, it's very easy to make. It can also be used as an egg cup or a holder for chocolates.

Tania Scarf-Shawl
great project for gradient cake yarn

-- to the pattern --

This scarf-shawl is a wonderful combination of a scarf and a shawl.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes step by step how you can crochet this scarf-shawl yourself, even as a beginner.
For advanced crocheters , it also includes a computer-generated crochet chart.

The scarf-shawl shown was crocheted using 150 g of 4-ply gradient cake yarn (yardage 190 m/50 g) and is 220 cm long with a height of 25 cm.
