Crochet pattern for a headband

This headband is ideal for beginners.

If you can already crochet single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet, then this headband will be quick to make. The pattern consists of just one row that repeats continuously.

I used 50 grams of yarn to make a headband for an adult. For example, I crocheted with Rowan Baby Merino Silk (135 m / 50 g) and a size 4 hook. Click here for the pattern and information on alternative yarns.

Knitted Beanie in 8 Sizes

This hat is quite simple, as it’s knitted using only knit and purl stitches.

You should already have a little practice with a set of double-pointed needles, and stitches are also knitted together for decreasing. The pattern is described in detail; you’ll be guided through the project round by round.

I knitted my hats using yarn with a yardage of between 110 and 130 m.

Here you’ll find the pattern and more information about the yarns used.

The little airplane is a great way to use up leftover yarn and is super easy to crochet, so even beginners will be able to make it without any trouble. You can start with just one airplane (e.g., as a keychain or bag charm). Once you’ve had some fun with it, crochet several more in lots of bright colors and string them together to make a mobile: an eye-catcher in the kids’ room and always a hit with little airplane captains!
You can download the pattern right here!

Even dishwashing supplies can be something special!
This dish sponge, which is very easy to crochet, is a lucky charm for the kitchen. If a dish sponge is too ordinary for you, you can also use the ladybug as an exfoliating sponge.  The sponge yarn (Creative Bubble by Rico) is very easy to work with. It dries quickly and can be washed at 60°C, so it always stays hygienically clean.

The Diamond scarf/stole is absolutely beginner-friendly and still a real eye-catcher.
The pattern is described in detail and also includes a chart.
You need 200 g of yarn in sock yarn weight, but you can also easily make it larger.

This modern triangular shawl is so fluffy and soft that you’ll just want to snuggle right into it. It’s crocheted from the side and is nearly symmetrical.

The pattern is super easy to make. It’s almost all single crochet—perfect for a coffee get-together or while watching TV. Everything is explained in great detail in the pattern, with step-by-step photos, text, and a crochet chart.

Thanks to the lace pattern, the shawl is wonderfully light and soft. It drapes beautifully and can be worn in many different ways.

This loop is very easy to knit on circular needles. You only need to know how to knit and purl stitches to create this great cable pattern.

I knitted with Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK, with a yardage of 135 m/50 g, using size 4.5 needles. I used 200 grams to achieve a size of 29 x 130 cm. This size allows the loop to be wrapped around twice.

The pattern is explained both as a knitting chart and in writing, round by round.

Here you’ll find the pattern for the loop

This baby blanket is a beginner-friendly project. It is worked from the center outward, and after a few rounds the pattern almost works itself.

The baby blanket can be made with merino wool, cotton, or blended yarns; with pure wool, about 250 g per blanket or 50 g per color, 125 m running length, and crochet hook size 3.5 to 4.0, crocheted loosely.

A doily or coaster that still fits well with the winter season.

The difficulty level is low, and you’ll make quick progress. For the doily, you’ll need about 15 g of cotton yarn for hook size 2.5 to 3.5.

Have fun with this doily.

Do you love triangular shawls in all their variations? Then this asymmetrical triangular shawl is a must for you, too. The two patterns are very easy and require neither much concentration nor advanced skills.

The download includes two files. One file WITH some detailed photos and a more printer-friendly file WITHOUT detailed photos. Both files include written instructions as well as crochet charts

Difficulty level: Easy

What you need:

For my shawl, I used an approx. 300 g gradient yarn cake, 4-ply (300 g = approx. 1500 m yardage), recommended hook size 3.5
Size: approx. 1.80 x 1.05 meters with just under 1500 m yardage

What you need to know:

chain stitches, half double crochet, double crochet

Crocheted triangular shawl "Flowerstripes"

--> Go to the pattern here

This beautiful triangular shawl with a crosswise color gradient can be crocheted with any gradient yarn and creates a great look. The super-easy pattern consists of only 4 rows and does not require much prior knowledge. Perfect for a cozy evening in front of the TV as a “side project.”

It can be crocheted to any size, since the pattern repeat keeps repeating and the shawl automatically grows a little wider in every row.

If you would also like to crochet a colorful eye-catcher, you can get started right away with this pattern! Here you’ll receive a written version as well as a crochet chart and a few pictures that support the pattern.

Difficulty level: Easy

What you need:

An approx. 300 g cake, 4-ply (300 g = approx. 1500 m yarn length), recommended hook size 3.5

Since this pattern uses up a lot of yarn, your cake should have at least 1500 m of yarn length, preferably more, so it turns out nice and large.

Size: 1.75 x 0.75 meters with just under 1500 m yarn length

What you need to know:

chain stitches, single crochet, slip stitches, double crochet, clusters (3 dc worked off together)
