Looking for a pattern for a small sweater or something similar for a stuffed dog

Hello, dear needlecraft enthusiasts,
I’m looking for a pattern for a small sweater or something similar for my daughter’s favorite stuffed dog. Due to heavy use, the fabric isn’t looking so good anymore, and the neck has gotten a bit thin.
I might need something with a collar.
And I’m not really sure how to get it on him either.
Could anyone possibly help me with this?

What are the stuffed dog’s measurements? Try looking here in the doll clothes section. Maybe you’ll find something suitable there. You might need to widen the pattern a bit. It would be best if the sweater pattern were as simple as possible, so that you only have to add a few more stitches across the width.

I have teddy bear clothes in my shop. Maybe you’ll find something there? There’s also a crocheted jacket with a collar. You could put that on a dog, too.

Hello Sandra ... here I’ll show you how I crocheted around my older granddaughter’s sheep (12). It was already tucked into a sock because it has almost no fur left. Maybe you can make something of it. I simply crocheted a hood onto it so the neck is protected.
