Winter or Spring?

Dear users, dear authors,
do you like winter, or do you prefer spring?
Let me know.

I like snow and winter clothes, and when it’s cold outside, you can curl up on the sofa under a blanket with your knitting (or crocheting) and make winter items. And then you can snuggle right into those winter items. But in spring, everything starts to bloom and flourish—everything grows and blossoms, the sun shines again, and it’s warmer—which has its own charm. All in all, I like every season.

Spring! I hate winter, the cold, and the damp. And the darkness, too. In spring, everything comes to life and the world seems so much friendlier.

I don’t like the cold, or the darkness, either. And when it rains on top of that, my good mood goes right out the window.
Since I love the sun, we’re heading off to chase it again in February.
Maybe it has something to do with getting older, too. Back in the day, there was nothing I loved more than a ski vacation.

For me, it’s actually the opposite: I used to hate winter and couldn’t get enough sun. Since I no longer have to go to work, I’ve come to find winter quite cozy. When it’s cold and wet outside, I don’t necessarily have to go out. Instead, I snuggle up in a blanket, warm up my grain pillow, and retreat to a comfortable armchair with a cup of tea and a craft project.

I think there’s something positive to be found in every season!

I like every season, as long as the weather is right.

I love both winter and spring.

Since I’m from one of the snowiest parts of the Black Forest, I grew up with snow and still get excited when it’s white outside. 
(The only thing I don’t like is wintry slushy weather… Wet, cold, gray… yuck!)

Spring is awesome, too! Everything blooms so beautifully, you can sit outside again…

Come to think of it… When the weather’s nice, I like all the seasons. 

Ever since I started having hot flashes, I’ve really come to love winter. :)
And I don’t like summer at all anymore. 

Welcome to the club, Anja—yeah, I know what you mean.
But of course I like winter when it’s dry and cold and comes with sunshine.
I really don’t like that kind of wet, dreary weather at all.
In spring, everything starts to bloom, and when it gets warmer, you can sit outside—I love that.

Every season has its pros and cons. You just have to make the best of it.
