The llama will probably remain the trend animal in the coming year. Wouldn't you like to have such a cute, cuddly alpaca too?
Lady alpaca Pamina is not hard to crochet, even though I used fuzzy yarn. In the pattern, you'll find valuable tips on how to work with it, so it shouldn't be a problem at all. But of course you can also crochet Pamina with regular yarn and then brush the fur thoroughly with a teasing brush or pet brush so it gets plushy too.

The slip-on hat for children with buttons—that’s something a little different. It also has something special: a pattern that looks like double knitting and therefore keeps you nice and warm.

Easy to knit if you’ve already knitted knit and purl stitches before.

Wings and angels are still totally on trend in 2019. So here are cute earrings with little angel wings.

The earrings are quick to make—so they’re also great to crochet “last minute”—and an absolute eye-catcher. Wonderful for using up leftover yarn.

Here’s the pattern

You’ll receive a detailed PDF pattern with numerous
step-by-step photos, so it’s also easy for beginners to make. The wings look very pretty from
both sides (the back almost looks like stockinette stitch
— see photo).

Dotty
Polka dots are on trend! That’s why I’m introducing my Dotty here.

The name Dotty comes from the many dots incorporated into the shawl.
I used a random bobble yarn by Nomis Valent, which I discovered on Facebook. I saw a picture there of a beautiful, really colorful bobble yarn. I immediately joined the group and started browsing. And as sometimes happens, an idea came to me while I was looking. The idea was a shawl with dangling little bobbles and dots. That’s how the Dotty idea was born.

Materials:
• 1000 m of bobble yarn, 4-ply
• 50 g of a contrasting color for the dots in the same weight
• Crochet hook size 3.5 or 4
• Scissors
• Sewing needle

Dimensions:
• 500 m approx. 138 g approx. 170 cm x 85 cm
• 800 m approx. 220 g approx. 200 cm x 100 cm
• 1000 m approx. 275 g approx. 235 cm x 120 cm

Requirements:
• Magic ring
• Chain stitches

• Single crochet • Double crochet,
• Treble crochet and double treble crochet

Contents:
• Written instructions
• Many photos
• Additional crochet chart

Here's something for your ears, and it could become the next trendy hit. The crocheted ear pads turn any pair of headphones into a one-of-a-kind piece. They're comfortable to wear, cost only a few bits of leftover yarn, and are eco-friendly too.

A great project for beginners. Basic skills are required.

There will be cold days in 2019, too.
The Nami scarf helps with that, because it keeps your neck warm.

You can knit Nami in two versions: short with buttons, or long for wrapping or tying.

In the photo you can see the long version; its material requirements and other details can be found in the product description.

The PDF pattern consists of 2 pages and is suitable for beginners .

Hats will continue to appear on every wish list in 2019, too.....

The spiral-shaped pattern and crossed stitches make this hat a fashionable accessory for babies, children, women, and men.

The pattern is written for 8 sizes. From size 30 (preemie) up to adult sizes. I used yarns with yardages between 110 and 125 m / 50 g (e.g., Schachenmayr Soft Wool).
The crossing is explained in detail (with pictures) step by step, so that even experienced beginners can make the hat.

Here you can find the pattern

Unicorns everywhere you look! I think this trend is here to stay for a while! My granddaughter, at any rate, loves her Violetta so dearly that she sometimes even has to take her to bed!
You can crochet a unicorn like this, too. The hobbyhorse unicorn has a head made of fluffy, soft white cuddle yarn and a body (stick) made from a soft pool noodle. This means it has no hard edges and is perfect for cuddling and playing, without the risk of getting hurt or breaking anything—even when things get wild!
The mane consists of purple curls crocheted from cotton yarn. But of course, you can also crochet it in a variety of colors to use up your leftover yarn.
You can download the pattern here!
