The window gnome Klemmi is a big help during the Christmas season, because he keeps the window open when it’s windy outside!

The little gnome is 24 cm tall and fits into any window gap.

When he’s not needed, you can easily store him on the window handle using his foot loop. There he patiently waits for his next job.

If you can’t bear to wedge the little guy into the window, you can also hang Klemmi nicely as a decoration for door wreaths, gifts, or even the Christmas tree.

The pattern is written in detail and includes pictures.

You can easily make a star gnome like this before Christmas. It’s so quick and easy that you can crochet several of them right away and use up some small, colorful leftover yarn in the process.
If you string the gnomes together in a chain, you’ll get a beautiful, colorful star garland:

You can download the pattern for the star gnomes here!

You absolutely have to have this Santa Claus—he’s incredibly practical and original! Instead of putting him away after Christmas, just turn him inside out like this:
And then Santa turns into a cute little bunny girl who can sit on your dresser all spring long. Isn’t that brilliant?

A reversible doll like this isn’t hard to crochet. If you have any half-used balls of cotton yarn, you can put them to great use here. I used Catania by Schachenmayr (LL 125 m / 50 g) in red, brown, skin-tone, and light green, as well as some white fluffy yarn for the beard, hands, and snout.

You can find the pattern here!

So, don’t you want a surprise St. Nicholas like this, too? Then get started right away!

And if you don’t finish by Christmas—no big deal: you’ll definitely have it done by Easter!

"The Wegglies" - cute egg cozy gnome gang
These adorable little fellows are guaranteed to bring good cheer to your
breakfast table. With their cheeky little button noses, they peek impishly
over the rim of the egg cups and bring a smile to the faces of young and old
alike. Also a super-cute gift or little present to bring along.

Here’s the pattern

Elves are, as everyone knows, mythical creatures said to have special powers. What special powers might Christmas elf Elena have? She certainly has lots of charm, and many people, young or old, will quickly take her to their hearts.
Elena Elf will be 28 cm tall when made using the specified materials. I personally recommend using cotton yarn for making all my cuddly toys and dolls.
The pattern contains many step-by-step photos that make it easier to follow. However, basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases/decreases, spiral rounds, etc.) are required.
The following materials are needed to make it:
  • 100 g cotton yarn in soft apricot (skin color)
  • 50 g cotton yarn in red
  • 50 g cotton yarn in light green
  • leftover cotton yarn in white, reddish brown, black
  • one pair of safety eyes, 9 mm, in brown-black
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook no. 3

This cute gnome family uses up your leftover yarn almost as a side benefit while you crochet. The more colorful, the prettier they look. They can take on lots of jobs, for example you can invite them to the breakfast table as egg cups and egg cozies. You can fill them with buttons and other odds and ends. And your children or grandchildren are sure to have lots of ideas for playing with them.

Get the crochet pattern and, in no time at all, you’ll have a cheerful gnome family together that everyone will enjoy.

Note: There is also a house for the gnomes that you can use as a crochet supplies basket. Both together are available as a value set in my shop.

This cute Santa Claus decorates a gift bag that is perfect for a child’s present.

The festive gift bag is made of cardstock and measures approximately 19 x 18 x 10 cm. The bag is easy to make and can also be recreated easily by beginners with a little experience.

Whether as pure decoration or to make him jump around, this jumping gnome delights young and old alike. ♥
If you don’t want to make him out of (ply)wood, you can also use construction paper. Instead of wire, simply use paper fasteners.

In addition to wood, you will need wire, yarn, glue, paint, and possibly a little bell.

I explain step by step, with numerous pictures, how to make the jumping gnome.
The size can be adjusted as desired.

Anyone who isn’t afraid of a fretsaw and drill can master the pattern even as a beginner.
