Yarn for Christmas: How’s that going?

Dear users, dear authors,
how’s your yarn holding up right now? What are you doing with your leftover yarn and stash? Is everyone in the Christmas spirit?

Everything’s great!
My yarn winder arrived in the mail the day before yesterday, and of course I tested it right away. I’ve already turned 10 skeins of wool into pretty yarn cakes. Bottom line: It works and gets to stay. My yarn stash has been replenished, and I have 1,000 ideas in my head just waiting to be brought to life.

The Christmas spirit is still a bit subdued, even though everything is already decorated and lit up. Maybe it’ll come later...

I’m still working through my yarn stash.
It’s going wonderfully, and it’s great to see the stash slowly but surely
dwindling.

My husband said that with the amount of yarn I have, I won’t need to buy any
more in this lifetime.

Our craft store posted yesterday that they’re having an Advent clearance sale. It might be worth checking it out to give one or two yarn cakes a new home...

I’ve almost crocheted up all my Christmas yarn, the concrete houses are painted, the boards are painted, I’ve bought tealights, and the first prototype for my family’s Christmas gifts is finished!!! I think it all goes together really well... I’m definitely happy with it!
