Help with Crocheting

I’d like to try Tunisian crochet, but I’m stuck on this pattern (see photo) from “Die kleine Diana Häkellust,” Issue 010/2017, pp. 30–33.
After the first row, I’m missing one stitch. But if I make an extra yarn over in the first row, right in the middle between two stitches that have been worked together, then I end up with one too many stitches in the fifth row. Could someone please follow along with the pattern and help me? I’ve been struggling with this for two days now. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, it’s a bit difficult for us to help with patterns that aren’t sold here, since we obviously aren’t familiar with them.
