Another perennial favorite is my Arctica soul warmer.
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/32996/gestrickter-seelenwaermer-arctica

The size is easy to customize since it’s knitted horizontally. The pattern is explained row by row, but also includes a chart.
Depending on the size, you’ll need 150–200g of sock-weight yarn; I used 200g for size XL.

“Diamant” can be worn as both a scarf and a shawl; the size can be easily adjusted to your preference.
The pattern is provided both row by row and in a chart:
https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/28567/gestrickter-schal-stola-diamant

You’ll need at least 200 g of yarn, preferably a merino/silk blend with a yardage of about 400 m per 100 g.
The pattern is perfect for beginners and looks wonderful with gradient yarn as well.

Tania scarf-shawl
a wonderful accessory in an unusual shape

-- to the pattern --

This scarf-shawl is a wonderful combination of scarf and shawl. It can easily be adjusted in length and width.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes in detail how you can crochet this scarf-shawl yourself—even as a beginner with basic knowledge.
A crochet chart is also included.

The scarf-shawl shown was crocheted from 570 m of 4-ply gradient yarn (yardage 190 m/50 g). It is 220 cm long and 25 cm high.

Little Angels
simple and beautiful

-- to the pattern --

These little angels are quick to crochet from a few leftover yarn and are very versatile - as guardian angels, as Christmas decorations, as gift tags, as tree ornaments...

The pattern is, as always, richly illustrated and describes in detail how you - even as a beginner with basic skills - can crochet these little angels yourself.

The angels shown were each crocheted using about 15g of cotton yarn (e.g. Gründl Cotton Fun, LL 115m/50g) and are approximately 10cm tall.

Would you like to give a cash gift in a way that’s not just “plain and simple”? I have a fun idea for you: Give a few mice to spend:

The little mice are super easy and lightning-fast to crochet from a few colorful scraps of leftover yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. If you crochet them in the colors of the banknotes, the whole thing looks even better!

One more tip: these mice are also excellent as cat toys. In that case, though, I might use slightly thicker yarn than specified.

This pinafore dress is a true quick-change artist, because it can be worn from ages 1 1/2 to 5. It is also easy to knit, even for beginners with basic skills who have knitted before.

The little dress has no seams and is knitted in one piece from bottom to top. It’s suitable for every season.

This decorative tissue box cover—embellished with butterflies and hearts—could be the Christmas gift you’re still looking for. It’s quick to crochet, you can use up lots of leftover yarn, and there are no limits to your imagination.

By the way, it also makes a lovely baby gift. And a tip for the environmentally conscious: At our house, the box sits on the dining room table—instead of napkins.

Well suited for beginners with basic skills.

Beautiful shoulder bag / tote in natural tones.

This casual bag is a great everyday companion! Elegant thanks to its natural tones, and classic yet casual in shape, it goes with many outfits and is a real eye-catcher.

In the photos, you can see the embroidered front and the non-embroidered back. Of course, you can embroider both sides or leave the bag “plain” - whatever you prefer.

Knitting pattern for a hat in all sizes

This hat is knitted in rounds using a set of double-pointed needles. The pattern is described in detail and includes information for 8 different sizes (newborn to adult, head circumference approx. 55 cm).

The loop pattern is shown in pictures to demonstrate how it is knitted, so it shouldn’t be difficult if you know how to knit and purl stitches, as well as knit stitches together.

Yarns with a yardage of 106 - 120 m are suitable. For the smallest hats, leftover yarn is often enough.

Here you can find the hat pattern

Sometimes gifts are so beautifully wrapped that just the sight of the packaging creates a festive mood and greatly heightens the anticipation of what’s inside. That’s certainly the case with this pretty little house.

The little house is made of photo cardstock and measures approximately 18.5 x 24 x 16 cm. It’s quick and easy to make, even for beginners, quite sturdy, and can even be reused.

Knitting pattern for a scarf with a great pattern a0

A pattern with a stunning effect - but it is knitted using only knit and purl stitches.

The scarf starts with a pointed tip, and by increasing stitches, you can determine the desired width yourself. At the end, it is knitted back to a pointed tip in the opposite direction.

If knitted without the pointed tips, it also works very well as a scarf for a man.

The pattern is described in detail and includes photos. You’ll also find a knitting chart for the pattern and the increases.

I used a yarn with a yardage of 165 m / 50 grams (e.g. Rowan Super Fine Merino) and used 300 grams to achieve a finished length of 166 cm / 220 cm and a width of 26 cm. Of course, you can also use other yarns and calculate the width based on a gauge swatch.

Here you’ll find the pattern for my scarf "Nachts in Toronto"

Neck warmers are a great alternative to cowls and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
... you can never have enough of them.

Here, 2 techniques come together CREATIVELY—and harmonize beautifully:
Tartan + Tapestry

Who says the tartan technique only shines in knitted fashion? — Not at all.
Crocheted pieces can be wonderfully jazzed up too!

The method looks sophisticated, but is so easy to work that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, the pattern includes 1 chart in crochet chart form .
In addition, a template with an integrated diagram helps you through the crochet process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated (16 pictures).
The tapestry technique is also explained separately.

The unrolled scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed without much effort.
The included template and the gauge help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

"Peek-a-Boo" roughly translates as "peekaboo"
A lovely name for this style!

This sleeveless vest is held by a button, which also stabilizes the collar.
In the right quality, it can be worn all year round - it spruces up any boring outfit in no time!
The "pearls" of the pattern used look as if they were wrapped.
This impression is created because the stitch groups are worked over two stitches
- simple, but not boring.

Once you have crocheted the pattern repeat, you’ll get the hang of it -
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, both a written-out pattern repeat,
and a chart in crochet chart can be found in the pattern.
In addition, a cutting layout with an integrated schematic is included.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains in detail
how this vest can easily be adjusted to any size.

The included schematic and the gauge help with this!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Are you looking for a small project for in between?
These wrist warmers are perfect for that.

The simple yet sophisticated cable pattern is fun, and the result is simply delightful.
And if you like, you can creatively spice them up with rhinestones!

A detailed description guides you step by step through the knitting process.
In addition, a knitting chart helps you work through the pattern repeat.

Also a lovely project for beginners who want to expand their skills!

The length of the finished wrist warmers is about 20 cm.
Of course, as always, the gauge is included.

Perfect, too, if you want to shrink your leftover yarn stash!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

This winter decoration might look complicated, but it’s really not—quite the opposite! However, since there’s a lot of cutting and gluing involved, you’ll need a little time.

This hanging decoration consists mainly of two balls made from cardstock, measuring approximately 8 cm and 16 cm, respectively; the total length of the decoration is approximately 60 cm.
