I downloaded a pattern, but unfortunately it’s only in black and white, so I can’t make out the numbers in parentheses (colored) at all. Would it be possible for you to send me the pattern so I can really make the most of it?

What’s making me wonder right now... do you see colored numbers in the PDF file?
If so, and your printout is black and white, then your printer is set incorrectly.
Take a look at that and, if necessary, contact the author of the pattern.
