Christmas is getting closer and closer, and soon it will be time to start decorating and putting together gifts. Until then, you can start preparing gift packaging – preferably in different sizes, so you have suitable packaging for every gift.



This packaging is suitable for smaller gifts. It is made from photo cardstock, measures approx. 21 x 10.5 x 5 cm, is very easy to craft, and is also well suited for beginners.

With this cute monster lantern, little boys and girls will be the stars of the show on St. Martin’s Day.




Here’s what you’ll need:

• Craft cardstock, 1 sheet of A2-sized purple cardstock, scraps of black, white, and orange
• Extra-strong translucent paper, 2 sheets of green A4
• Lantern handle
• Strong all-purpose glue, possibly hot glue (optional)
• Adhesive tape
• Ruler
• Scissors, nail scissors
• Electric lantern stick

  This St. Martin’s lantern is made from cardstock and tracing paper and measures about 19 cm in diameter. It requires a bit of concentration, but is otherwise easy to make.

As we all know, St. Nicholas gifts absolutely require footwear—whether that’s a sock or a boot varies from place to place and from house to house. Sometimes the containers even look completely identical but are called by different names. It doesn’t really matter—it’s the contents that count!



And this St. Nicholas boot can hold quite a lot, since it measures about 28 x 39 cm! The boot is sewn from thin felt and decorated with felt scraps. It’s very easy for beginners with basic sewing skills to recreate.
