Dear users, dear authors,
how are you today? Is everything going well?
What’s for lunch? Who’s cooking vegan, vegetarian, with fish, or even with meat?
What’s the weather like?
How are your craft projects and goals coming along?

Tell me all about it. :-)

Hello,

I’m doing quite well so far. I’m a little under the weather.
For lunch, I had a smoothie, 1 orange, and 1 apple.
Since we’re going on vacation over Christmas, I’d like to lose a few
pounds.
Here in Saarland, it’s cold and dry.

In October, I finished two Emmis and a vest for my
daughter.
Yesterday I started a vest for myself, I’m already working on the
third Emmi, I’ve also started a gnome, and I’ve finished half
of a poncho for myself—I still need to start the other half.

So right now I have four projects on my needles.

Best regards, Heike

I’ve just finished my sweater, washed it, and now it’s dripping away. For lunch today, we’re having half a chicken again; I made a whole one yesterday, but that was too much for the four of us.
I still need to think of something for this evening, since I don’t have any old projects left on the needles. But maybe I’ll take care of my bare crochet hooks first and give them Fimo handles...

My husband has the day off, it feels totally strange having him here during the week :-)))

We just went to buy winter crawling shoes for Anton. Now he’s at the hardware store, Anton is asleep, and I’m enjoying the quiet. I’m crocheting a hat for Anton right now. I started last night and realized this morning that Anton’s head isn’t as big as I thought. Now I’m undoing 6 rounds, and then it should fit.

We don’t know yet what we’re having for dinner tonight. I’d really love to go out for Greek food. We’ll see if I can convince him.

I’ve declared war on the old paper.
I’m slowly winning.
This year, the pile of paper clutter should finally be gone from the basement.
Then I can continue in the apartment.

I’ve started my tablecloth over again—hopefully I’ll be happy with it this time.

We’ve been “infected” since last week—Junior’s been sick for over a week, and I’ve been sick since last Wednesday. Now my husband’s coming down with it too.
As a result, I haven’t really been able to get much done because I can’t concentrate at all.
Since yesterday, though, we’ve had a new addition—a young tomcat has moved in with us. ^^ It’s been so quiet at home without a cat.
We’re improvising when it comes to meals. We don’t have much of an appetite right now.

Here, our ears and hands get really cold when we’re biking, and right now it’s raining pretty hard again—which was badly needed—but please, not too much now!
On Mondays, lunch usually consists of leftovers, since I have to leave the house at one o’clock: Today we had “Tätschli” — a kind of burger made from leftover mashed potatoes, with some oats and an egg mixed in — served with carrots, peas, and salad.
Yesterday I knitted the first wrist warmer under difficult conditions, since the yarn had been infested with moths and now I have to weave in countless loose ends… The second skein looks better, so I’m working on the second one with more enthusiasm (it should actually be finished tonight.)
