Dear users, dear authors,
how are you today? How was your weekend?
What’s for lunch? Who’s cooking vegan, vegetarian, with meat, or even with fish?
What are your plans for the week?
What crafting goals do you want to achieve?
What’s the weather like?
Let me know.

I just baked bread, spelt sticks, and apple muffins for Anton.

Tonight we’re having chili con carne.

The housework is all done, and now it’s time to play and cuddle. Let’s see if we can still make it to the playground. It looks like rain, though.

And tonight I’ll be crocheting. I’m on a roll right now and want to finish that doily :-)

I just happened to knit a new hat for my granddaughter on the side. And the vest for my husband is finished, too.

This morning we had freshly baked spelt bread… hmmm, delicious.

Since it was still sunny today, I did some pruning in the garden—trimmed the apple tree and cut back the peonies and raspberry bushes.

I’ll be knitting again tonight. And tomorrow I’ll write up the pattern for the new hat. Yes, there’s quite a bit to do.

It’s gray here and it keeps drizzling on and off. But it’s not really rain. We watered our garden last week.
Given the weather, we had venison steaks (delicious) with dumplings and red cabbage today. Our first fall-winter meal.
Right now, I’m writing a to-do list for our vacation. We’re leaving next Sunday for a trip that’ll last over three weeks. We’re taking a cruise from Crete all the way to Madagascar. I’m really looking forward to it, and “tara”—I’m not bringing any crochet or knitting supplies with me.
By the way, I’m currently using up all my tiny, tiny leftover yarn scraps for a pattern. The box is empty now, and I’m thrilled.

We baked another tray of spritz cookies today.

As for the sweater, I’ll probably finish the second cuff tomorrow.

After that, I’ll need to take something to work on for the trip to the library.
I think I’ll do some crocheting.

Good morning.
We had to take Junior to the doctor yesterday morning - he seems to have picked up a virus over the weekend. So he's off school for a week... -.-

But we're rearranging quite a few things in the apartment, especially my sewing corner. Then I'll have more space and Junior can help better. I hope it works out as planned and that I can sew again by tomorrow at the latest - I'm slowly getting withdrawal symptoms. xD

I still don't know what we'll have to eat. Probably soup; Junior will eat that even when he's sick,

Tonight I’m trying out a new recipe: sweet potato soup with ginger. I’m excited
This morning, Anton and I went to our music class again. Singing, clapping, having fun. It’s so wonderful to see how Anton can approach other children :-)

Sandra, music is a wonderful thing for kids—they really enjoy it.
I might also be interested in your sweet potato soup with ginger...
We’re having pumpkin quiche tomorrow. I’m going to make it vegan for the first time, so without eggs, too.

Monika: That was really delicious. For 2 people:
500g sweet potato
1 liter broth
1 onion
About 5cm ginger
2 tbsp cream (I’m sure you’ll come up with something else)
Chop the sweet potato, onion, and ginger into small pieces
and sauté briefly
Add the broth and let it simmer for about 15 minutes, then add the cream and purée everything.

Wow—there’s the recipe already—great! Thanks, Sandra!
I can easily substitute the cream.

Now I just need to see where I can get the sweet potatoes, and then I’ll make it just like you did.
