Dear users, dear authors,

? Maybe you’ll also like a few of the bestsellers or some of our Halloween patterns, or maybe a few Advent and Christmas patterns?

@Authors,
2–3 patterns per author are enough. Don’t forget the link and image, as well as the usual info.

Do you know this problem too? Some gifts just aren’t suitable for wrapping in paper. With these crocheted gift bags, you can solve that problem easily and decoratively.

I crocheted the little bags using sock yarn in Christmas colors (Cristmas Wonderland by Woll Butt). Colorful leftover yarn works just as well for them. I also used leftover yarn I already had for the moose and Santa. The top “fur trim” made of fluffy yarn makes the bags especially cozy.
You can crochet the bags in any size you like. They also make wonderful little bags for a St. Nicholas gift.

Here I have a project for you that will take several weekends, but I guarantee you: it’s a ton of fun! Crochet your own nativity figures this year! They will be about 12 cm tall and can be crocheted from lots of colorful leftover yarn. You can let your inspiration and your yarn stash guide you completely. That way you’ll get a truly one-of-a-kind piece that everyone will admire.
Here are a few suggestions:

You’ll surely start with:

Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus in the manger, poinsettia, ox and donkey.

If you want to add more figures, you can

the Three Wise Men with camel, elephant, horse

crochet to go with them. As additional figures, you’ll also find the shepherds and sheep with the Christmas angel in my shop.

Tip 1: You don’t have to finish everything by this Christmas. Just start with the most important figures and then crochet new ones little by little. You can even do that in the garden in summer sometime. This way your nativity scene grows year after year and is a new source of joy every Christmas.

Tip 2: These nativity figures can also be given as an Advent calendar: every day there is another piece. (My 3 patterns include 19 pieces, but of course there have to be several sheep). On December 24, you then find Baby Jesus and the nativity scene is complete.

The decorations/coasters " little snowflakes "

with a diameter of approx. 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be beautifully placed on the festive table as coasters for candle holders or used as door and window decorations. And of course as Christmas tree ornaments . Not much thread is needed to make one snowflake, so they can be crocheted from leftover thread. A lovely way to use up leftovers!

The cute little trees and stars fly off the hook so quickly that you’ll have conjured up a whole little forest with a starry sky in no time
at all.

You can use them as Christmas tree ornaments, gift tags, decorations for an
Advent wreath, or as table decorations. Or place them as a wreath
around a few candles, and you’ll have your own modern
Advent decoration.

You can easily crochet the little trees with or without a loop. They are very simple and quick to crochet—making them absolutely
beginner-friendly.
