Happy with September? Plans for October

was September a good month for you? What are your plans for October?

Hi,

September had its ups and downs.
But overall, it was okay.
We were still able to celebrate our oldest daughter’s birthday by the pool.
She went to Bad Blankenburg for the national soccer finals.

October got off to a good start.
We were in Wetzlar until yesterday and took a few days off.
Today I had to go back to work because half of my vacation time was canceled.

At the end of the month, our oldest daughter’s awards ceremony at school
is coming up.

Right now we’re on fall break.

As for crocheting, I’d like to finish Baby Emmi, a vest for the little one, and
a poncho for myself. Then the Christmas season will begin.

September was really okay—the weather was nice, and now fall has arrived. School has started again, and my son is beginning his first semester at university this October. We both have a lot to learn, so at least we won’t argue. Lately, I’ve been noticing more and more just how grown-up he’s actually become.
As for crocheting, I’d like to start my Christmas gifts in October; as for knitting, I’d like to keep working on, finish, or start a scarf, a hat, and a soul warmer. And I also hope to be able to create at least one pattern.
