Not only as an Advent calendar, but also a wonderful gift for new or expectant parents: this pattern. Filled with little treats for mother, father, and baby, the calendar is a hit. You should knit 2 socks each in the same color so you can put them on the baby right away afterward.
Also ideal for knitting beginners, as it is knitted with just 2 needles.

One click and you’ll get to the pattern!

This Advent calendar fulfills many of the wishes people often have for such calendars—it takes up little space, has compartments of varying sizes for gifts of different sizes, and can be reused multiple times.

The Advent calendar consists of individual compartments that are glued together. This isn’t difficult, but it does require precision and a little time. The calendar is made of photo cardstock, measures approximately 13 x 30 x 15 cm, and is very sturdy.

Free Pattern for a Homemade Advent Wreath

This Advent wreath is guaranteed to be an eye-catcher on your table or as a decoration in the hallway. It’s made from lots of soft pom-poms attached to a Styrofoam wreath. The pom-poms in various shades of green look a bit like fir branches, which also come in different shades of green. Small red Christmas ornaments were glued on with hot glue to add a bright, eye-catching touch. But you can also decorate it differently.

You’ll find the free pattern by clicking on the title. I hope you enjoy this project—Ina

Colorful Advent Calendar

24 small, colorful pouches make 1 original Advent calendar. You’ll only need a few grams of yarn for each crocheted pouch, so this is a great way to use up your leftover yarn.

You can hang the filled pouches on a coat hanger or arrange them on a tray in a festive way. The red stars with the numbers are included as a printable template.

And once Christmas is over, you can fill them with Easter treats and surprise your guests with them. They’re also always a hit—when filled—at children’s birthday parties.

The crochet pattern is also very well suited for beginners. You’ll find more information by clicking on the title.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project—Yours, Ina

I hope you have lots of fun with this project and, when the time comes, a lovely Advent season. Yours, Ina

This Advent calendar needs a bit more space than the one further above, but it also offers room for slightly larger gifts. If you start crafting right away, you’ll still have enough time to think about what to hide inside :-).

The Advent calendar is approx. 17.5 x 22 x 20.5 cm in size and made of cardstock. It is easy to make, but so that everything fits together properly in the end, you should work very accurately.

This Advent calendar is as personal and unique as you want it to be.

With these 24 gift bags, you can let your creativity run free and crochet and craft a truly personal Advent calendar for your loved ones.

The original idea came from my mom, who made me a similar calendar when I was a child—and the bags for the 6th (St. Nicholas Day), the 24th (Christmas Eve), and of course the 21st (my birthday!) were the ones with the prettiest and most elaborate decorations.

The pattern includes:
  • detailed step-by-step instructions
  • the details for 3 different bag sizes
  • an additional crochet chart for the base and edge of the bags
  • a printable template for the numbers
  • a large technique section for the decorations
  • as well as lots of ideas for designing the bags
Now I wish you lots of joy crocheting and decorating the bags, and a wonderful Advent season!
You can find the pattern and all further information here >>>

And one more tip: The
bags are also perfect as gift wrapping for small gifts and treats during Advent.

An Advent Calendar for Cat Lovers

This Advent calendar is a great way to use up your leftover yarn. If you have leftovers in different thicknesses, the cat heads will also turn out in different sizes. This means you can fill the individual little pouches very flexibly.

These little pouches are also perfect as gift wrapping for (money) gifts all year round.

The pattern is available here: https://www.crazypatterns.net/de/items/44116/katzenkopf-haekelanleitung

There you will also find more details about the materials needed and the stitches used.
