For all sizes

Still longing for the sea? Then bring it home and crochet this great tissue box cover for the bathroom!
This project is perfect for on the go, because you only need 2 skeins of yarn in 2 shades of blue, and the pattern is simple. Once you’ve decided on the size, the rest is a breeze. (You can finish the little sea creatures at home if they’re too fiddly to work on while you’re out and about.)

Materials needed:

  • approx. 55 g cotton yarn (approx. 115 m/50 g, e.g., Rico Cotton Print) in turquoise
  • a scrap of mint-colored cotton yarn (e.g., Schachenmayr Catania)
  • a scrap of pastel-colored cotton yarn
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • a pack of tissues

Great to crochet on a train ride or as a passenger:

Crochet pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(Please click the image to purchase/download)

This scarf collar is so quick to crochet with just 60 g of merino yarn (50 g - 160 m) and a 3.5 mm crochet hook, that, in some cases, it can be crocheted during the trip and given right away as a small gift.
Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used.

For the illustrated PDF pattern all you need is basic crochet knowledge (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch). Link tips for learning to crochet are included. There’s a free crochet basics tutorial here (click me).

Perfect for on the go—and in two ways at once!

The Beauty cosmetic set consists of several small pieces that can be crocheted quickly and easily! The set includes the following pieces:
  • Cosmetic pads for removing makeup and skin care in 2 different textures with a hanging loop
  • The practical travel/laundry net for storage on the go and safe cleaning in the washing machine
  • As well as the pretty reversible basket for storing the pads at home.
A little tip: When you're on the go, it's a good idea to crochet the travel net first, then you can store the pads you make afterward right away ;)
The set was crocheted with myboshi Lieblingsfarben No.2, but of course it also works with other cotton (blend) yarns!

More information can be found in the description!

Princess or bridal dress

There’s always room in your handbag for this little crochet project. A small ball of yarn and a size 2.5 crochet hook are all you need—and you’re ready to get started. Round by round, you’ll crochet a dream dress for your daughters’ and granddaughters’ little Barbies. It’s very easy and really makes an impression. You’ll find more information by clicking on the heading.

I hope you have lots of fun with this project—yours, Ina

PS. Those were the princess dresses, but what would a bride look like? Like this, for example: You can also make this dress using my crochet pattern. By the way, you have several edging options. For the bridal dress, I crocheted a beaded edging around each skirt layer. It’s very easy and looks really great! The petticoat is worked in at the same time, so the dress has a better shape.

3-Piece Summer Set for Barbie

This is also ideal for on the go. The small amount of yarn and size 2 crochet hook fit in any handbag and are always ready whenever you have a little downtime. I always crochet it on my local train on the way to work. 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back—you can really get a lot done in that time. Others look at their phones, and I crochet the prettiest doll clothes. You can do that, too. Your daughters and granddaughters will be delighted.

You can find more information about this set by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this project—Ina

P.S. There are 3 pieces: a skirt, a bustier, and a bolero...

“Feather-Light” Loop or Bolero

If you’d rather make something for yourself instead of doll clothes, I can recommend this loop as an on-the-go project. It’s knitted in stockinette stitch using feather-light cashmere yarn. It’s really nothing complicated—you can just keep knitting without having to think about it. In the end, your hard work will be rewarded with a great loop—which the slimmer among you can also wear as a bolero. It’s a lovely project that you can always carry with you. If you ever find yourself waiting somewhere for a while, you’ll make good progress and can relax nicely while you’re at it.

You’ll find more information by clicking on the title.

I hope you enjoy this knitting project—Ina

P.S. Just pick your favorite color and get started! I also really love this beige because it just goes with everything.

For on the go, I always think a cowl is really great

Crochet pattern for a cowl worn as a single loop, ideal for the transitional seasons or for the office.

You need to know chain stitches, slip stitches, and double crochet. The crochet pattern consists of only two rows, which are repeated. This pattern is easy to work, so you can easily take your project with you anywhere in your bag.
Of course, you can also easily adjust the circumference and width to your wishes by adding more stitches to the foundation chain.

In my 8-page pattern, I crocheted the scarf with three different yarns:
Regia Silk (
yardage 200 m / 50 g - used 2 balls)
Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine Lace
(yardage 280 m / 50 g - used 50 grams)
Schachenmayr Tahiti
(yardage 280 m / 50 g, - used 50 grams)

You can find the pattern for the cowl here

Simply Loop is, as the name suggests, super easy and therefore also suitable for knitting on the go.
It’s worked using knit and purl stitches, yarn overs, and knitting two stitches together—so it’s absolutely beginner-friendly.
You’ll need 2 skeins of 50 g Noblesse by Lanartus, with a yardage of 160 m per 50 g, or a similar yarn.

This cowl / shoulder warmer is absolutely ideal for on the go. It can be knitted from one skein of lightweight cotton and looks wonderful under sweaters. Also a great idea as a Christmas gift.

The pattern is optimized for beginners, and there is also a separate print version.

The little pouch for a pack of tissues is great to crochet on the go. Just pack a few cotton leftovers, a crochet hook, and you’re ready to start.

The benefits summarized:
  • Your cotton leftovers are put to good use.
  • If you crochet several, you’ll always have a small gift ready - one you can even hide little gifts in.
  • The pouch is finished very quickly.
  • You can let your imagination run wild with colors and decorations.
  • You get a pattern that even beginners (with basic knowledge) can handle well.
  • You get several variations shown.

For this headband, you only need leftover yarn in cotton or wool. It’s described here in baby size, but that’s just an example. You can knit it in any size and with any yarn, even as a beginner with basic skills.

Just pack your yarn and knitting needles, and you’re ready to go.

An ideal project for on the go is the wonderful Möbius loop scarf Stephanie.

Its frustration-free stitch cast-on ensures crochet fun right from the start, since you don’t first have to crochet a long foundation chain or a foundation single crochet row. :-)

The pattern for crocheting the tube scarf is 11 pages long. It includes:
  • detailed written instructions
  • a photo tutorial for the loop cast-on
