Counting stitches: How many are you doing today? Counting paper cutouts / Counting seams

Dear users, dear authors,
how’s the weather and how’s work / running errands, etc.?
Do you have enough time for crafts?
If so, go ahead and start counting your stitches—or the steps in your craft project, the paper cuts when cutting out shapes, or the seams when sewing.
Everyone is welcome to join in.

Hi everyone,

It’s a summery 28 degrees in the shade here. But rain and thunderstorms are forecast for tomorrow. So I took the opportunity to let the laundry dry outside while I still could.
I’ve picked up the first supplies for my two students, and now I’m waiting at the school to pick up my student who’s currently on crutches.
Still, I’ve managed 450 single crochet stitches so far, and I’d like to add at least 800 more today—preferably 1,600.

I hope you all have a beautiful, sunny day like the one I’m having right now. And for those who don’t need a parasol today, I hope you at least have sunshine in your heart and are surrounded by people with sunny dispositions.

Hello,

it's 26° and sunny here. Starting tomorrow, they’ve forecast
thunderstorms and rain for us.

Right now I’m still at work until 3:30 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m. my friend is coming by for one or
two coffees.

I already crocheted this morning and during my break.
It was 85 tr, 170 sc, 450 dc.

Maybe I’ll still get the main part of my soul warmer
finished today. That would be really great.

Best, Heike

It’s raining here right now. If it were up to the number of stitches I’d planned, I’d finish my blanket today :)
But since there’s only a limited amount of “crafting time” in a day, I’ll be lucky if I get 1,000–1,500 stitches done.

I didn’t really feel like crocheting today because it was pretty warm here—almost 30°.
Still, I’ve managed to get 816 stitches so far.

I’ve crocheted... 540 stitches and am now going to do at least 2 more rounds of 108 stitches each—I have to finish this hat! :)

Hmm… reading this, I’m already a little jealous…
it’s almost autumn temperatures here already, with rain every now and then :-(
But on the bright side, I crocheted about 500 meters today—no idea how many stitches that is—and I’m definitely not going to count them now… lol

The nice thing about autumn and winter is that they’re boom times for handicrafts… otherwise, I don’t like these seasons at all. I’m a summer person… I only really feel good when it’s 30 °C.

Best regards - Claudia

Today’s final tally: 12 rows, 2,568 stitches total. But that’s enough for today :)

Since I finally had to tackle the weeds today—I pulled a whole basketful from two garden beds!!!—I didn’t get much time for crafts. In the evening, while watching TV, I did manage to crochet a little guardian angel (still without hair); that was a little over 600 single crochet stitches.

I managed to finish the main part of my soul warmer.

BUT:

It wasn’t wide enough—it was too long instead.
So I unraveled the whole thing. Completely.

My daughters looked at me in utter horror.

Oh well, back to square one.

Dear haekeltrulla, that scene sounds very familiar to me—except that my husband always looks either horrified or just completely baffled! Good luck on your second try!
