Knitting pattern with crochet details



These booties make a lovely welcome gift for any baby. 
The lower part is knitted, while the edging for a secure fit on baby’s little feet is crocheted using relief stitches. 

The pattern is richly illustrated, and the individual rows are described in detail.

- Booties pattern -

You should be comfortable using a set of double-pointed needles and know how to knit and purl. For the crochet portion, you’ll need to know how to work single crochet and post double crochet stitches.

The challenge in this pattern is the wide cable that runs across the top of the foot up to the cuff.

You should have experience with a set of double-pointed needles and cables; then these little shoes will be quick to knit.

Sole length: approx. 9.5 cm.
You’ll only need about 30 g of yarn with a yardage of 250 m / 100 g.
