Dear users, dear authors,
how are you, how’s it going, what are you up to?
Feeling good and ready for a new week on Crazypatterns?
How’s the weather?
What are your plans for the week?
What’s for lunch?
after a busy weekend, I’m totally wiped out.
We were in Cologne. There, we met a few actors from
GZSZ, Unter uns, and AWZ by the Rhine. Our two girls were totally
over the moon.
Then we had a 2-day TOGGO tour.
The weather could be better—and so could my mood.
Things can only get better.
On Friday, my oldest turns 12. This week is going to be a bit
stressful.
But hopefully there’ll still be time for crocheting.
I’m basically doing fine, I’m just super tired and I have to get to work soon.
I wonder if today’s going to go well… :D
Since we had guests over the weekend, we gave the house a thorough cleaning beforehand, so this week (after work, of course) I have loooads of time to crochet.
I’ll need it, too, because I still have to finish a bag as a birthday gift. (The elephant bag by Otterthaler_Haekelmaus, if I may mention it here.)
Yesterday I made pizza, so I’ll be having the leftovers for lunch today.
I’m looking forward to that :)
Ah, now that the temperatures are getting milder again, I’ve already got my first projects with merino wool on my needles. :-)
A hat for my granddaughter and a headband for me. It feels really good, and it’s coming along nicely.
Starting Thursday, we’ll keep an eye on the weather, and then we’ll be hitting the road again for two days in the RV. This time, we’re heading to Lake Chiemsee. I’ll also be visiting Waltraud at her Wollkörberl. (Good thing I’m not on a diet right now.)
I had to order some yarn yesterday because I was missing one skein for the hat. Oh well, I went ahead and ordered the yarn I need for my husband’s vest while I was at it.
I spent the whole weekend crocheting—I just wasn’t in the mood to clean at all :-) Now I’m sitting at work with nothing to do because my boss is in a meeting. The temperatures are pleasant; my kitchen is getting finished today, so it’s time to roll up my sleeves and clean the kitchen, put things away, etc., etc.,,, but I’ll still find time to crochet.
The thermometer reads 17°, I’ve finished crocheting the granny squares for the bag (a birthday gift for my younger daughter), moved the patterns to a folder, and now I’m going to make lunch: carrot and Swiss chard stir-fry with chili almonds to go with the leftover rice from yesterday.
This afternoon I’m heading to school, and I have a meeting this evening.
Over the weekend I had severe circulation problems, but I’m feeling better again today.
I really love the weather right now. It has cooled down, but there’s nice fresh air to breathe, and the garden is grateful for a few drops of rain :-)
Nothing special is coming up this week.
Tomorrow we’re picking up my brother-in-law from the airport. He was in Los Angeles for a week. Then I’ll make the house kitten-proof. I’m having a lot of fun with the new addition, but also a lot of work :-)
We were actually supposed to have meatballs and cauliflower today, but unfortunately I didn’t take the meat out of the freezer, so that’s been postponed until tomorrow and today we’re having spaghetti.
