To crochet the dinos, you will need:A 2–3.5 crochet hook (depending on the yarn), yarn; I used Mondial bio soft cotton (50 g 180 m) for the small dinos (approx. 17 cm), and Ecobebek (50 g 105 m) for the larger dino (approx. 23 cm). Both yarns are made of 100% organic cotton, making them ideal for baby toys. You can also use bio cotton from Austermann; both yarns are compatible with each other. Of course, you can also use another yarn of your choice, but this will change the size of your dinosaurs. For the large dino you need: approx. 100 g main color, remnants in contrasting colors for spots, mane, eyes. For the small dinosaur you need approx. 50 g main color, remnants in contrasting colors for cheeks, eyes, spots, mane. black remnants to embroider the eyes (if you don’t want to use beads), small beads / lentil beads for the eyes or safety eyes in a suitable size, bells / rattle discs / rattle balls, crinkle foil, stuffing. If you use a different yarn, you may need to adjust the yarn quantities. A darning needle for weaving in ends, scissors, sewing thread in a matching color to sew on the eyes and appliqués.
