You’ll need a maximum of 200g of sock-weight yarn.
It’s knitted as a rectangle, so it isn’t very long. The pattern is explained row by row and is also available as a chart.

The lace pattern at the beginning requires a bit of concentration, but the rest is easy to knit.
The stitch patterns are explained with charts, and two are also written out.
You’ll need at least 300g of sock-weight yarn; the pattern includes instructions for two sizes.

With the Poncho "Waterfall" pattern, you have various design options. You can adjust it individually to your measurements and decide whether to make it with or without a turtleneck, or whether you’d rather crochet an oversized shirt. Both are perfect for sitting outside in the evening or braving the first autumn weather.

You can make it using written instructions and a crochet chart.

Materials needed:
  • A 4-ply, plied gradient yarn with a total yardage of approx. 1600 m was used here (the yarn consumption is
of course dependent on the width and length — in this example,
the span is about 95 cm, the length approx. 60 cm)
  • Any crochet hook suitable for the yarn — here size 4

This poncho named “ Midnight Dream “ is perfect for braving the first fall weather.
You have several ways to wear it, and in strong winds the collar can simply be pulled closed.

As a little bonus, there is a pattern for the matching hat. Whether for children or adults, the poncho as well as the hat can be made in all sizes.
No annoying sewing together; it is worked in one piece.

And another soul warmer, and another soul warmer, and yet another one...
... clearly obvious—you can never have enough of them!

What’s interesting about this shrug is the combination of the two patterns:
a delicate lace flower pattern contrasts with the sturdy woven pattern!
This variety is simply fun and looks excellent on top of that.
The edging is worked in a relief pattern, which is simple—yet very effective.

The cut of the soul warmer requires absolutely no decreases or increases...
... so it’s also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
Each pattern is listed row by row.
For clarification, there are 4 crochet charts included in the pattern.
In addition, 2 schematics and many photos guide you—step by step—to completion.

This pattern is designed for sizes S / M / L / XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can be very easily adjusted to any size .
The included template and the gauge swatches help with that!

And here’s the pattern with more details...

Beautiful and comfortable, this casual jacket / soul warmer. Whether with a short top or a long-sleeved shirt, whether with jeans or sweatpants, whether at home, at a garden party, or at the
beer garden - this fashionable basic piece always fits. Just slip it on and feel good.

The pattern is easy and works up quickly. Since the basic pattern is worked only into chain-stitch arches, you can easily make the soul warmer on the side while watching TV or chatting over coffee.

Here’s the pattern

This timeless, chic poncho is soft, versatile, and simply lovely to snuggle into—for crisp spring days and mild summer nights.

Thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this poncho is a true quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there’s no need to work in buttonholes—so the buttons can be fastened at
any spot you like, creating a variety of ways to wear it!
