You can use this little Santa Claus for so many things.
As an ornament on a fir bouquet or on the Christmas tree. As a gift tag, it brings the recipient an extra bit of joy. During Advent, he can accompany you as a keychain or
bag charm. So many things are possible. You can also use just the little hat as an ornament.

Here you can find the pattern

This little crocheted Santa Claus is a great Christmas decoration. With a ribbon, he can also be used beautifully as a hanging decoration for gifts or for the Christmas tree. During Advent, he also looks great as
a keychain or bag charm.
Crocheted with cotton yarn (125 m per 50 g skein), he measures just about 8 cm tall.

You can crochet these Christmas tree ornaments very quickly using leftover yarn—either thin cotton or glitter yarn. Bells, snowflakes, stars, and angels also make lovely additions to your gift packages. Start crocheting a few of them here and there now, and you’ll definitely have them finished by Christmas. These little projects are especially pleasant to crochet when it’s hot.

This cute little moose would love to hang on your Christmas tree. But it also makes a great gift tag, good-luck charm, or keychain. Or how about using it as a unique decoration on your Advent wreath? All you need is a bit of leftover yarn, a crochet hook, embroidery floss, and a crochet hook. So, what do you say?

If you’d like to decorate your Christmas tree with homemade ornaments, it’s a good idea to start preparing early and gather some pretty ideas. I’d love to suggest these glitter baubles – they do take a little time, but since it’s still July, that’s no problem :-).

The 9 cm ornaments are made from photo cardstock and decorated with glitter liner. While making the individual pieces requires a bit of patience, the ornaments as a whole are very easy to craft.

Every year again...
... it’s a wonderful time to decorate your home and especially the tree for Christmas!
Add a personal touch in no time.

Whether for the tree or as a gift tag - these 3 ornaments are simple and quick to crochet.
They’re also eye-catching as appliqués.

Even beginners will enjoy this pattern.
Three clear crochet charts guide you through each motif.

The sizes of the finished ornaments are:
  • Angel: approx.       9 x 10 cm
  • Star: approx. 8 x 8 cm
  • Bells: approx. 10 x 5 cm
A gauge for possible adaptations can also be found in the pattern.

And here’s the pattern and more details...

The decorations/coasters " Little Snowflakes "

with a diameter of about 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be nicely placed on the festive table as coasters for candleholders or used as door and window decorations. Not much yarn is needed to make one snowflake, so they can be crocheted from leftover yarn. They work up quickly, have an easy difficulty level, and should not be any problem at all for a beginner.
Here is the pattern

Of course, the Christmas tree will be decorated again this year! So that all the decorations are finished in time, you could start crafting now.

These ornaments are mainly made from corrugated cardboard, and because corrugated cardboard bends very easily, making them is quite simple as well. Of course, the colors shown are only a suggestion – the ornaments can just as easily be made in any other color. When finished, they are approximately 8 x 7 x 5 cm in size and are also very suitable for craft beginners with good fine motor skills.
