I’ve already posted once and said hello in passing :)
But I’d also like to do that again here.
My name is Küma, I’m about in my mid-20s :D
and I’m a beautician by profession (no wrong assumptions :P)
I’ve been crocheting and knitting at my grandma’s place in the countryside since I was a child,
more or less. With crochet it was chain stitches, and with knitting it was chain patterns :)
I actually got into crafts through looming (those little colorful rubber bands)
When I made my first crochet patterns with rubber bands (Loomigurumi)
it occurred to me: why not with yarn too... I experimented with a few things and, well,
I can still do it :)
Now I’m here and first need to see how everything works and runs here :)
I’d also love to learn how to crochet and/or knit. When I was a little kid, I used to knit a little with my grandma and mom. Unfortunately, I forgot how as I got older. Now I could really use those skills :-).
Hey, Alexander :)
Well then, come on over and we’ll practice together :D
No problem… there are way too few men who do handicrafts anyway.
Unfortunately… But I’m doing my best :D
Hi Küma,
it’s great that you’re sticking with the forum. :-) I hope you have fun, and I’m looking forward to reading more from you and seeing more of your patterns in the shop.
A little late, but still a heartfelt “Welcome”—I’m looking forward to new ideas.
My dad, at the very least, knew how to sew on buttons and darn socks. Yeah, that’s what people used to do back in the day.
