Weekend: Do you have any plans?

the week is over. What are your plans?

The weather isn’t great here right now, so we’ve postponed today’s trip to the outdoor theater and will just cozy up in front of the TV instead.

Tomorrow we’re off to the vet again, then we’ll do some house cleaning, and I’ve decided to tidy up my desk tomorrow. In the evening, as always, my favorite Greek restaurant.

This Sunday we’re hosting Family Day, so I’ll be cooking.
They’ve requested liver with onions and mashed potatoes—it’s going to be a major battle in the kitchen.
Then in the evening, I’ll watch the World Cup final and start my new Tunisian crochet potholder.

It’s hot here, just like it was 45 years ago. How do I know that so precisely?
It’s simple—that’s when I got married. It was just like today, Friday the 13th—an absolutely lucky day for me.

So we went out for a nice lunch today and are just enjoying this wonderful day.
We’re not doing anything special this weekend. Just tidying up, lounging around, and knitting or crocheting.

Tomorrow is finally Schlagermove. I’m sooooo looking forward to it.
Tonight will be a chill night, and on Sunday, just like Petra: THE FINALE!!!!

We’ll be celebrating 47 years this fall.

Sandra, I hope you have a great time at the Schlagermove—and of course I’m looking forward to seeing the picture!

Tomorrow we’re planning to go on our usual hike with friends and then go out for dinner together. Hopefully most of the route will be in the shade—it’s supposed to get even hotter tomorrow than it was today! On Sunday, I’m hoping to get back to my crafts a bit!

My cat isn't doing so well; I hope he gets better soon. I have to get used to the fact that his days are numbered. My wish is that the tomcat falls asleep without suffering.

Congratulations on 45 years, Marion! That’s quite a long time!

I went for a hike today and brought you a few little flowers. They kind of look like wild roses, but I’m not entirely sure.

Wow, Marion, 45 years! I’d like to extend my warmest congratulations to you—or rather, to both of you—on your wedding anniversary. That’s quite an achievement!

Christina, 47 years—I’d also like to congratulate you on having the man of your dreams. Because otherwise, so many years together just wouldn’t be possible, right?

I have my dream man, too—we’ve been together for 30 years this year. Our 26th wedding anniversary is on July 24.

Sandra, I hope you have a lot of fun at the Schlagermove tomorrow. I’m already looking forward to seeing your photo in that colorful dress. :-)

Petra, I sincerely hope your cat can pass away without suffering.

I’m going to enjoy the garden and take photos for the color project. I still need to finish writing the patterns, too. Oh, and in the garden, I’ll crochet a few strawberries and cherries so the berry basket gets full. :-)

I’m working until 4 p.m. today. But then I’ll have time to keep tinkering with my new ideas. My husband won’t be home much this weekend, and our mothers (who are a big worry for us at the moment) are well taken care of for the weekend. So starting tonight, I can definitely indulge in my crafts without restraint...yeaaaaa!

Sandra, I think the dress is pretty, especially the skirt. Can you wear it without the top? It looks a little loose to me too. I don’t know what it looks like from the front, though.
