The crocheted “Noah’s Ark” door wreath is an imaginative gift for a birth or christening and a decorative piece for any child’s room. The bright colors and funny animals will keep capturing the child’s attention. When they get older, you can tell them the story of Noah and how he saved himself and all the animals from the Great Flood...

The door wreath is a varied crochet project that’s sure to be lots of fun. Besides cotton yarn (I used Catania), you’ll also need a Styrofoam wreath (25 cm diameter) and some craft stuffing.

You can find the pattern here!

You can crochet this delicious meal for your child’s or grandchild’s dolls. Then they’ll have the same things on their plates as their doll moms or dads. For example, toast, butter, vegetables, a fried egg, and pasta.

A wonderful opportunity to use up leftover yarn—ideally in the garden or on the patio.

With this cheerful, colorful spring or summer meadow, you can creatively use up leftover cotton yarn. Here you’ll find various pattern ideas, such as large and small placemats with flower edging, flower-shaped table decorations, and various egg warmers.

It’s best to start crocheting right away—in the garden, on the patio, or wherever you like—and then try out your new table decorations.

Already thinking about Christmas!!!
Santa Claus is on summer break right now and is using the time to do his big laundry.
This year, his gift sack will be filled with money or vouchers; after the sack is emptied, everything is still an original decoration

Pattern for a money gift as Christmas decoration

The pattern is written without abbreviations and is well suited for beginners.
Leftover yarn is enough to make it.

With this bouquet , you can really let your creativity run wild, because the petals and layers, which are made separately, give you the opportunity to use all the colors in the cardstock palette and combine them however you like.

Besides the cardstock for the flowers, I also used crepe paper for the pistil, the stem, and the stem leaves. The flowers are about 27 cm tall and easy to make.

Summer is the time of year when you like to stay outside until late into the night. Especially in the evening, it’s nice to have something warm around your shoulders. For that, I suggest a crocheted triangular shawl. Crocheted from sock yarn in a lovely lace pattern, it’s the perfect companion for cool summer nights.

You can find the pattern here.

With this window decoration too, you can give free rein to your creativity with colors, because my color choice is only a suggestion, not a must.

The mandala is made of cardstock and translucent paper. It is approx. 30 cm in size and very easy to make.
