Do you have any needles or hooks free? What’s on the ones in use?

Dear users, dear authors,
Do you currently have any free knitting needles or crochet hooks?
What projects are on the ones that are in use?
Are there any UFOs among them?
Let me know.

At the moment, I only have a wool blanket on my knitting needles. Since it’s going to be very large, those needles will be tied up for quite some time.
All my other needles are free (=no UFOs).

My crochet hooks are currently busy with:
an elephant, two African figures, five dancing mice, three door wreaths, an anchor, a steering wheel, a pillow (filet swan pattern), a large window decoration (filet swan), and little projects for in between (when it’s not worth starting on the bigger pieces).
None of them are PiAs. They’re still in the box for now.

Right now, the only thing on my knitting needles is a tunic that’s almost finished. On one crochet hook, I’m working on some cute baby booties, and on the other, a pretty little basket.

I’m currently waiting for some 5-mm, 150-cm needles so I can keep working on the blanket. Other than that, my other needles are all tied up with projects: shawls and even more blankets.

I’d love to know if any of you have tried those new ergonomic plastic needles that supposedly don’t rattle.
I’m not sure whether I’m allowed to mention the brand name here.

Actually, I have quite a few free needles. But those are mainly in the sizes I don’t really like. My favorites are the 3 or 3.5 mm ones, and they’re all in use.

Ugh, those tiny little needles—they make me cringe! You just can’t get anywhere with them.
I like size 5 best ♡
And for crochet hooks, size 4.

I currently have a top-down raglan on a circular needle.
And one crochet hook is still occupied with the last part for the color challenge.

Right now, the CraSyTrio 2.5 and 3.5 are in use—they’re in the hiking socks. The size 4 crochet hook is being used for granny squares (bag, poncho), a size 5 circular needle is in the scarf I’ve started, and size 3 and 4 circular needles are waiting to be used again in a double-faced pot holder and a Laie shawl. But there are many, many needles of all kinds that are currently free…

I finished the first hiking sock yesterday, and I’ve already cast on the second one!
The heel, sole, and toe are reinforced with gray yarn.

Your sock looks great, Christina! :-)
Why not show it off in the July projects too—there are awards at the end of the month.

How are you all doing? How are your July projects coming along?

For me, a few things are now entering the final phase, like my color projects. I won’t be able to make a final decision until everything is finished. At the end of July—by the 27th at the latest—I’ll show you everything here.

Right now, I’m also crocheting a little basket with berries; I bought the pattern from Ruth here.
In the process, I learned a new stitch—the knot stitch. I hadn’t known that one before.

As you know, I prefer knitting. But I still enjoy learning something new when it comes to crocheting. Some things are just better suited for crocheting, like the tiniest ones. It doesn’t come naturally to me, but I’m still practicing hard...

Have a wonderful sunny day, everyone!

Warm regards from Monika

Monika, for me it’s exactly the opposite. Crocheting is no problem, but when it comes to knitting, I’m constantly learning new things.
That’s just how it is—you never stop learning!
