The winners in June 2018
alphabetical order

Arni is a winner and has won.
The music box made with leftover yarn is easily enough for the title Leftover Best. Congratulations. :- ) Continued success on your way to conquering the inner pig-dog. You can do it. Congratulations on your perseverance. I can't award you a title for throwing away the rebellious yarn (formerly stepchild yarn ), but be glad: now it is gone, the matter is over and done with, and you can turn to new projects. That is not so bad either. :- )

ChristinaE is a winner and has won
Congratulations on consistently unraveling the ancient UFO. Unraveling is also a kind of finishing; at least your mind is then free for something new.
And of course congratulations on the title Leftover Best for two soccer men each for your grandson,
tissue pouches and bookmarks. It is also great that you learned how to knit reinforced socks.
Reading your list of successfully completed June projects is very impressive. Great job. 1 Hippo comforter
  • 2 soccer men
  • 2 tissue pouches
  • 2 bookmarks: owl and hedgehog
  • Baby summer ensemble: pullover and pants (pictures )
  • 2/3 of a reinforced hiking sock knitted
  • 7 granny squares crocheted for a bag
It is also nice that you uploaded many photos.

haekeltrulla is a winner and has won.
Congratulations on sticking with your yarn diet, on becoming Yarn Emperor/Empress in June, on reaching the final round of world domination, and much success on your way to becoming an
Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror.
Haekeltrulla was busy in June and crocheted these projects:
6 bookmarks, 1 unicorn, 1 unicorn keychain, and 2 vests.
That is impressive. I wish you a wonderfully successful July.

Iglinz is a winner and has won.
Two finished projects and a new pattern are a good thing.
I hereby award you the honorary title for brave perseverance, and not only in the crafting area, but also in real life. You have truly earned this title, not only in June. I think it is good that you are rewarding yourself with new yarn. The yarn diet and the corresponding titles are not going anywhere.

mifas is a winner and has won.
Mifas earned the title UFO Queen with the soul warmer; congratulations. :- ) There was also a finished vest and a finished skirt. With the skirt, she also earned the title Wallflower Rescuer. Nicely done.
I also award you the honorary title of diligent reviewer of purchased / downloaded patterns. Thank you on behalf of the respective authors. Of course, there are bonus points for the pictures you put in the gallery. The thing with the buttons for the skirt will surely work out too.

Mowi19 is a winner and has won.
The now-finished UFO vest was enough for the title UFO Queen and also for Leftover Best at the same time, and it was enough for the title Rescuer of Rebellious Yarn / Stepchild-Yarn Rescuer as well. Well, if that isn't a victory. :- ) Congratulations on that, and of course also on the other finished UFO, the lucky beetle pot holders, for which there is also a pattern.
Since you also knitted headbands from leftover yarn / rebellious yarn / stepchild yarn for your granddaughter, you have also earned the titles Leftover Best and Rescuer of Rebellious Yarn several times over. Super.
It is also great that you learned something new. The lace knitting pattern will surely look good in the color project. And of course it is wonderful that you had fun with the garden projects. Your June was very busy, with six finished projects, the finished baby pants, the finished vest, and three finished patterns.

stjerne61 is a winner and has won.
Six finished projects and five new patterns are wonderful.
I hereby award you honorary titles for great work in Tunisian crochet and for all the maritime-style projects. Super job.
Your angel potholder will surely do great in the Christmas season.

Wollefaden / Marion is a winner and has won.
Congratulations on the title UFO Queen, which you truly earned with the six triangles on the shawl from last year. Congratulations also on the title Leftover Best, deservedly awarded for the colorful fidget blanket and for the top worked in Tunisian crochet.
I wish you continued perseverance with the yarn diet. Congratulations on becoming Yarn Emperor/Empress in June and on your yarn-buying abstinence since December. That is impressive.
And Marion also learned new patterns for Tunisian crochet in June. Someone clearly had a successful June. :- ) Super. It is also nice that you had lots of fun in the garden with your two tops. You will surely have a busy July too.

This month’s update will be brief.
I made my “Music Box to Go” for vacation out of leftover yarn, but is that enough to qualify for “ResteBeste”… Probably not.

Then I started a bag, but that’s now a UFO. I didn’t have enough yarn, so it’ll have to wait. Until I buy more yarn. I’m still working on overcoming my inner slacker.

And I’m a killer of unloved yarn. The yarn was so annoying, and none of it worked out. Now it’s gone. But that really took a lot of time

UFO King/Queen in June
[ x] I finally finished my vest (UFO), and I was also a material rescuer, because a full 350 g of unloved yarn was transformed in the process.
The lucky ladybug oven mitts were also a UFO that I brought in for a landing in June, including the pattern.

Best with Leftovers in June
[x ] I used up some colorful leftover yarn and knitted 4 headbands for my granddaughter from it, so I earned the title Best with Leftovers.
Details about the leftover yarn projects:

Rescuer of the stubborn yarn / of the stubborn material, formerly called
Stepchild Yarn Rescuer // Stepchild Material Rescuer
[x] I wound 350 g of old stubborn yarn into balls first and then knitted it into a vest. I knitted a headband from the leftovers. So I am a Rescuer of the stubborn yarn / Yarn Rescuer. I actually like the yarn quite a bit now; I just hadn’t felt like winding it before, so it sat in the cupboard for so long, waiting for better times. ;-)

Learned something new in June
[x ] I learned a new lace knitting pattern again and am currently using it in the color project. More about that at the end of July. I had already knitted this pattern a few decades ago, and it wasn’t that easy to revive it.

Garden projects / vacation projects in June
[ x] I worked on / finished one project / several projects in the garden / park / on vacation
and I had fun doing it. :- )
Details:
The headbands, the color project for July, the lucky ladybugs

all June projects
Number of projects finished in June: 6
Number of patterns finished / uploaded in June (authors only): 1
Details: Anything else you can think of can be written here.

Yarn Diet / Yarn Emperor/Empress / Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror
[x ] I didn’t buy any yarn in June and earned the title Yarn Emperor/Empress.

[x ] I would like the title Inner-Pig-Dog Conqueror, because the final round for world domination wasn’t enough. = 1 whole year without

In the other thread, I think I posted 2 finished projects, if I remember correctly. But those weren’t UFOs, neglected projects, or unraveling-or-whatever projects—they were just regular projects :-) Things aren’t looking great with the yarn diet either, because, after all, you have to treat yourself.
And I’ve uploaded a new pattern.

I also just uploaded a new pattern - that still needs to be added. It’s the vest with the vertical stripes.

UFO Queen in June
I actually wanted to finish a very old UFO, but when I tried it on, I realized that I no longer like it and that it doesn’t suit me at all - it will become a candidate for unraveling. (Picture separate)

Details of the leftover yarn projects:
2 soccer player figures (Germany for my grandchildren)
2 tissue pouches

I completed 3 projects in June.

  • A soul warmer, which in June only needed edging and sewing together; pattern from CP
  • A vest, pattern from CP
  • A skirt, also using a CP pattern
I’d had the pattern for the skirt sitting around for 3 months already = wallflower rescue

I always leave a review immediately after finishing a project and upload a photo to the gallery as soon as possible, linked to the pattern, of course.
I don’t have any buttons for my skirt yet *sob*, but I’ve already sent feedback to the designer, including a photo.

In June, I crocheted 6 bookmarks, 1 unicorn, 1 unicorn keychain, and 2 vests.
