Purchased crochet pattern for women’s jacket with gradient yarn

Hey...............I just bought the pattern.........and I'm completely lost. Where do I find the number of stitches to cast on......I don't understand a thing right now. Should I make a gauge swatch first and then what??

I’d also recommend that you contact the designer by email or phone—if that’s specified in the pattern—but in any case also send the designer a private message here on crazypatterns.

The rest of us don’t know which pattern you bought or who it’s from, and even if we did, we generally aren’t familiar with other designers’ patterns either.

If you continue to have problems (for example, if the designer doesn’t reply), I’d advise you to contact the support at crazypatterns by email. So far, nearly every problem has been resolved satisfactorily there!
