I used 1,000 m of 3-ply gradient yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook, but the pattern can be crocheted with any yarn. You should be familiar with the following stitches: chain stitches, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, and cluster stitches

A kitten like this is naturally black and white, and it looks anything but boring! Crochet it using cozy, fluffy yarn, and it’ll turn out just as plush as in the picture! But even when crocheted with acrylic yarn—which is then brushed to give it a fuzzy texture—the kitten looks adorable.
