This simple lace pattern has special features:
Weight gain and loss are no problem.

Knitted shirt/sweater 'ALGARVE'

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

Two in one pattern:
Sleeveless long shirt
with sleeves, a cotton sweater in a simple openwork pattern

Thanks to the pattern, it results in ONE SIZE for women's sizes 38–44. Smaller sizes can be worn "oversized". Weight gain and loss are therefore no problem.

Material:
300 g (without sleeves) / 550 g (sweater) Austermann Algarve (100% cotton;
50 g – 142 m) for needle size 2.5–3.5;

The PDF pattern contains the images from the image gallery (see above); due to the simple cut, no additional images are included.

Basic knitting skills are enough, including yarn over, knit 2 stitches together, slip 1, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over (explained). Otherwise, there's my free PDF pattern Crochet Basics (click me).

Lace and openwork patterns are often easier than you might think. Experienced beginners can give it a try:

Ajour Shoulder Shawl/Scarf - knitting pattern

All yarns of your choice (e.g. yarn cakes) and sizes are possible.

For this cozy gradient lace shawl, I used 150 g of Austermann Caleido Lace (50 g - 250 m) for approximately 42 cm x 112 cm. It can be worn as a shawl, scarf, or even as a hooded scarf.

Basic knitting skills (casting on, knit and purl stitches, edge stitches, yarn overs / knit together, bind off) are sufficient.

Perfect for warm days - whether over a bikini at the beach or over a tank top in the city - always an eye-catcher!

The lace pattern is sturdy and does not stretch out of shape, as the slipped stitches are worked alternately.
It is also pleasantly simple, so even beginners will enjoy this pattern!

A detailed description guides you through the knitting process.
The pattern is shown row by row.
For clarification, 1 chart in knitting chart format is also included in the pattern.

This pattern is designed for sizes S / M / L / XL.
However, the included cut and the gauges make it possible to make any size!

And here’s the pattern and more details...
