Yarn cake

Hi,
I got a yarn cake as a birthday gift (1500 m, 6-ply), and I have absolutely no idea what to make with it. It’s too short for a blanket, too thick for most clothing items, and I don’t like ponchos.
I’m totally stumped. I don’t know how many patterns I’ve already gone through, but I just can’t seem to find anything that works.
Does anyone here have an idea??

How about a nice bag? Since it’s 6-ply and therefore very thick, that would be ideal.
A large beach bag or shopping tote, a mochila...

What’s the color gradient like?
If it’s long enough, you could just make two smaller projects out of it :)

It would be perfect for a scarf!

...or maybe a hat and some arm warmers as well.
