Baby hats are always a lovely gift for expectant parents. Hand-knitted ones bring twice the joy and are also quick to make, because these hats are, as is well known, not very big. I have a two-color model with cables to offer, inspired by the fairy tale of Rapunzel. Not exactly easy, I should say right away; this pattern is intended more for experienced knitters.

These overalls have a few special features you’re sure to love:

• The pants fit babies starting at 3 months and even toddlers up to about 2 years old, because they grow with the child.
• The leg length can also be easily adjusted. The hem can be turned up as well.
• The pattern is written without any abbreviations.
• There are two versions—one with photos and a print version without pictures.

All individual steps are included in the knitting pattern. Basic knowledge of knitting and crocheting, along with some knitting experience, is required.

This ball is a lovely toy even for the very little ones





Crochet pattern for a balloon cover.

The ball is crocheted from individual granny squares, and an opening is left at the end so the balloon can be replaced.

At first, the balloon is only lightly inflated so the baby can grasp the ball. If it rolls away, it encourages the baby to crawl after it. Later on, the ball can be used both indoors and in the garden; it can be washed quickly and dries again fast.
