A fun idea for giving money in an original and personal way; after the sack has been emptied, everything can still be used as decoration.

If you have basic crochet skills, you can make this timeless door wreath even as a beginner.

Door wreath MOIN / Tunisian crochet

To make it, you only need to know chain stitches and single crochet. The life preserver is crocheted in the Tunisian simple stitch, and there is
an illustrated practice section in the pattern for this.

As always, the pattern is written in a beginner-friendly way without abbreviations and also includes the description of the decorative knots as well as the crochet pattern for the net.

No. 1
Little Sheep Egg Cozy Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 15g of yarn (it’s best to use 100% cotton craft yarn, as this makes the egg cozies nice and sturdy. Of course, you can also use any other yarn) in white or brown, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. Leftover yarn in green.
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Some stuffing for the head
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Googly eyes and superglue
To give the sheep a fluffier fleece look, I crochet with “bobbles.” I explain these at the beginning of the pattern and illustrate everything with pictures. That way, you’ll understand the technique very quickly ;-). All the remaining steps are also shown and explained with plenty of pictures. Difficulty level: medium—you should already have some crochet experience ;-) and shouldn’t choose the sheep as your very first crochet project. The sheep egg cozies are a super cute eye-catcher on any breakfast table! Also perfect as a gift ;-) !!!

No. 2
Unicorn Egg Cup Crochet Pattern

Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Brighten up your breakfast table with these cute unicorn egg cups. The unicorn egg cups will put a smile on your face first thing in the morning. They make great gifts and are real eye-catchers :-) What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 20g of white yarn, suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. I used 100% cotton, which makes the egg cup nice and sturdy.
  • Scraps of pink yarn (for the unicorn’s mouth), also suitable for a 3mm hook
  • Scraps of white yarn, suitable for a 2mm hook (for the ears)
  • Scraps of purple or yellow/gold yarn, suitable for a 2mm hook (for the horn)
  • Yarn for the mane and tail
  • 6mm safety eyes
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers
16-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures
Difficulty level: easy—you should be familiar with the basic crochet techniques (making a magic ring, crocheting in spiral rounds, single crochet, sewing the individual pieces together...). The pattern uses only single crochet stitches, so it’s also suitable for beginners.

Little Sheep Egg Cup Crochet Pattern

Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern
Crochet these cute little sheep egg cups!! They’ll brighten up any breakfast table and make you laugh first thing in the morning with their expression. The little sheep are truly a fun eye-catcher and also make great gifts! I crochet the “fleece look” using bobbles. I explain exactly how to do this at the beginning of the pattern with pictures. I also use plenty of pictures throughout the rest of the pattern to better illustrate each step. This makes the crochet pattern quick and easy to understand! You should be confident working with single crochet stitches: increasing and decreasing stitches, as well as making a magic ring. 16 illustrated pages of crochet

pattern. Difficulty level: medium, but easy to understand and quick to follow thanks to the many pictures. What you’ll need
  • A 3mm crochet hook. Approx. 15–20g of craft yarn/wool in the color of your choice (white, cream, beige, brown, black... after all, sheep come in all sorts of colors ;-) ). This yarn should be suitable for a 3mm crochet hook. I crocheted the sheep using 100% cotton yarn, which makes them nice and sturdy.
  • Some stuffing for the head and feet
  • A darning needle and scissors
  • Googly eyes and superglue

For me, everything has stayed the same:

In 1st place are the 10 small folding boxes, which are easy to craft and wonderfully suitable for crafting beginners. With the pattern, you'll get 10 templates for boxes with various edge lengths between 3 and 8 cm.

In 2nd place is this Advent calendar – anyone who starts crafting in summer saves themselves the Christmas stress :-)! The Advent calendar is approx. 28 x 4.5 x 32 cm, very easy to craft, and also well suited for crafting beginners.

In 3rd place is the backpack-shaped gift packaging - lovely and practical packaging for first-day-of-school gifts and an original alternative to the school cone. The backpack is approx. 16.5 x 22.5 x 9 cm and is also easy for beginners with a little crafting experience to make.

All featured models are made from photo cardstock.

 1. Colorful Bunnies
are always fun, not just at Easter! First while you’re crocheting them, and a second time when you’ve finished them and given them as a gift. They’re also a wonderful way to use up small amounts of leftover yarn.
 2. Cuddly Kitten
Everyone wants to cuddle the black-and-white kitten. Crochet it from fluffy yarn or any other yarn—it’s sure to turn out cute!
 3. Little Lamb
The little lamb is also preferably crocheted from fluffy yarn. You can also insert a music box, making it a sleep aid and cuddly toy all in one.

My perennial favorite is the scarf/shawl knitted in a hexagon pattern.
Not hard at all; the pattern is created with slipped stitches, and it’s also great for using up leftover skeins. Of course, you can also use a gradient yarn for the fill color.

So grab it—the next fall is sure to come.

Best wishes and have fun knitting,
Caro

First place goes to my triangular shawl in a square

This beautiful triangular shawl has sold over 1500 times so far. It is airy and light, yet elegant and wonderfully soft for snuggling up and feeling good. It is easy to crochet - making it absolutely suitable for beginners.

Here is the pattern

Second place is snapped up by my casual and trendy shoulder bag in natural shades

In the photos you can see the embroidered front and the non-embroidered
back. Of course, you can embroider both sides or leave the
bag “plain” - just as you like.

Here is the pattern

and third place belongs to these sweet angels

The cute angels are heavenly quick and really easy to
crochet - so they’re great even for “last-minute” makes. Perfect for
using up leftover yarn.

These pretty pendants are used not only at Christmas time
(e.g. as tree decorations, gift tags, decorations for the Advent wreath, or
table decorations), but also throughout the year as little guardian angels, lucky charms,
keychains, for the car, etc.

Here is the pattern

AND THE WINNERS ARE...

#1 Knitting pattern for girls’ vest / girls’ jacket | Baby AlpenChic traditional *jacket*

A simply made girls’ cardigan—but the border really gives it a special touch!
This vest has no button band at all and is therefore worn open.
A detailed description guides you through the knitting process.
The border is explained step by step.
This pattern is designed for size 116-122.
However, the included cut and gauge make it easy to make any size!

#2 Crochet pattern for shawl collar | Neckwarmer #1

With this wonderfully warm shawl collar, nothing can happen to men or women on cold days...
... and it’s trendy to boot!
The beautiful relief pattern adds stability and a braided texture.
Once you’ve crocheted the pattern repeat, you’ll have the hang of it—
even beginners will enjoy this pattern!
A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
For clarification, 1 crochet chart can be found in the pattern.
In addition, a cut with integrated diagram helps guide you through the crochet process.
The unrolled scarf has a size of about 27 x 96 cm.
However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed without much effort.
The included cut and the gauge help with that!

#3 Knitting pattern for girls’ vest | Baby AlpenChic traditional vest *Rhombus*

A warm girls’ vest to slip on in the evening—and also very pretty over a dirndl.
The diamond pattern is sophisticated, yet easy to make.
After a short time, the pattern repeat practically works itself—even suitable for beginners!

Top 1:
The very popular “Rustico” basket. It is variable in size, which means you can make it as large as you like. For materials, you can use leftover yarn from your favorite yarns from past craft projects, because the basket is worked with multiple strands. Thanks to an incorporated plastic clothesline that runs along in a spiral, it is stable and keeps its shape. It is very easy to crochet, because you only need to crochet single crochet stitches all the way around. Anyone can do it. That’s why this pattern is also very well suited for beginners.

Top 2:
Felt boots with a rolled cuff -
are probably more suited for fall and winter. But they are also always welcome gifts for family and friends. Because no one else has such beautiful, warm little felt boots.

And Top 3:
The spring and summer version of them: the felt moccasins.Quick to make and felted in the washing machine. Just a few grams of felting wool turn into very special favorite slippers that no one else has. Why not try bright yellow?

I hope you enjoy all your projects. Yours, Ina
