what are you up to today? How are you? How was your weekend? How's the weather?

I’m a little stressed out. The weekend was really nice, though the wind was a bit of a problem.
I still have to study philosophy because I have a test on Thursday, and I need to get a physics project off the ground—that’s also due on Thursday. Other than that, I’m doing well; I’m enjoying the sun and, when I have time, crocheting my new summer pants.

Hi,

the weekend was very relaxing.
On Friday, we went out for Chinese
food with our little one’s cello teacher, and on Saturday, we were invited over for dinner
by some very dear friends. Yesterday was a lazy day.

The weather is still a bit chilly and unsettled.

I’ll be at work until around 3:30 p.m., then I’ll quickly go shopping and
head home.

I’ve finished crocheting my vest and am already working on my next project—
a wedding gift for my former coworker.
I’m still hard at work using up my stash.

For a change, the weekend was very relaxing. There’s a thunderstorm raging outside right now. So I figured I’d put off my shopping until tomorrow and just laze around for a bit :-)

Today it isn’t as hot as it has been the last few days, which doesn’t bother me since I’m at work.

I had lunch with my sister, so it’s a nice day. Unfortunately, we don’t see each other nearly often enough, but we try to spend at least our lunch breaks together as often as possible.

As for crocheting, I’m still working on the shawl for my coworker. But I’ve already reached the penultimate color in the large yarn cake. That means the end is in sight.
My next project is already waiting in the wings. It’s going to be a placemat. If I really like it, I’ll make a whole bunch of them right away for our beautiful dining table.

The weather is gray and gloomy. But that’s okay—it was really nice over the weekend, and you can’t have everything :)

Later, I’m going back to the salon to get my hair re-dyed. I had it cut and dyed a week ago, but it’s still way too dark for my taste.
After that, I’m going to my sister’s to eat some wraps, and then I’ll hit the gym for a bit :) 

I’ve been off work since Monday and am finally enjoying the summery temperatures. I’m sitting out on the patio with my crochet supplies, relaxing and letting the sun shine on me. But you can’t stay out there for long—it’s so hot, but lovely.
In the evening, we sit outside again and watch the sunset until it disappears behind the mountain—then it gets cool and pleasant right away.

So, to everyone here on the forum, I wish you a pleasant rest of the week and a wonderful weekend, because we’re on vacation starting Thursday (May 17 is a national holiday here in Norway)—we’re off to Germany. Two weeks (lazing around, partying, eating ice cream... seeing family). It’s going to be great.

Thanks, Arni—we will. But first, we’re heading from Kiel to Brandenburg/H. to visit my parents; Saturday is their golden wedding anniversary, and then we’ll continue on to the Swabian Alb for a vacation—I hear it’s supposed to be really beautiful there. I haven’t been there myself yet, so I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s like.
I’ll be back with some photos.
