A great last-minute gift for Pentecost: the super cute Colorful Kangaroos
If you like, you can put small gifts or money in the pouch.

To crochet the kangaroos, you’ll need:l:
-Scrap yarn in your favorite colors
-A matching crochet hook
-A little stuffing
-A key ring / carabiner
-Safety eyes (if desired)

All you need to know are chain stitches and single crochet stitches. So the pattern is also suitable for beginners.

And here’s the pattern!

I hope you have lots of fun! :)

These lanterns and vases are easy to crochet using any kind of leftover yarn.

They can transform just about any glass into something beautiful in no time. The pattern includes tips on how to adapt it to different jars. The pattern itself is written for a glass that is 11.5 cm tall and has a circumference of 30 cm.

A lovely thank-you gift for a Pentecost weekend invitation.

Hopefully the weather will be nice for Pentecost, so we can finally enjoy coffee outdoors again!
These fruity coasters are ideal for protecting cool drinks, since they can also be used as lids. The hole in the middle is just the right size for a straw.

You can crochet these coasters in no time using a few bits of leftover yarn in matching colors. And if you crochet a few more rounds and add a loop, you’ll have a pretty potholder. An ideal project, especially for crochet beginners!

The Daisy Girl adds a cute springtime touch to your dining table. She’s about 13 cm tall and can be crocheted from green, white, skin-toned, and yellow leftover yarn. She holds a surprisingly realistic-looking bouquet of daisies in her hand. The arms and legs are crocheted around chenille wire, so you can bend them any way you like. This allows the Daisy Girl to strike all sorts of different poses.
Crochet several of them and use them to decorate your table or windowsill!

I also have a last-minute-friendly crochet idea for you. A flower and a sweet little doll in one, it makes a wonderfully personal gift. The little one is quick to crochet and perfect for using up some leftover yarn.

Clicking on the image takes you directly to the pattern:

What you should have at home:
Yarn in a skin tone of your choice (preferably cotton, about 20 g, with a yardage of around 100 m)
Yarn in green (about 5 g in the same weight as above)
Yarn in a hair color of your choice (about 10 g in the same weight)
Yarn in yellow (about 10 g in the same weight)
Yarn in a flower color of your choice (about 10 g in the same weight)
A very small bit of leftover yarn in red for the mouth
A slightly too-small crochet hook (2.5 mm with a yardage of around 100 m)
Stuffing
Safety eyes (of course, you can also embroider a face)
Embroidery or darning needle
Scissors

It is crocheted in single crochet stitches in continuous rounds; increase and decrease techniques should also be familiar. The pattern has lots of pictures, and there is a link to a video version on YouTube.

Not everyone has a little seal like this as a keychain! Just look at how skillfully it balances the ball on its nose!
You can crochet it using a little gray or white cotton (Catania). The richly illustrated pattern describes each row in detail, stitch by stitch.

Here you’ll find another option that’s also great for using up leftover yarn, since it doesn’t require too much yarn. The size also still works well for a keychain. Depending on the yarn and hook size, the unicorn measures approx. 14 cm and the seal 8x8 cm.

---->
You’ll find the pattern here <----

And here are the individual patterns for anyone who doesn’t want to crochet both.

Pattern for the little unicorn

Pattern for the little seal

You’ll need:

- Crochet hook size 2.5 or 3
- approx. 40 g white yarn and about the same amount of pink yarn; if you want to make the unicorn, you’ll also need a little               orange and yellow, or of course the colors you’d like to use
- safety eyes and nose, max. 1 cm in size
- some stuffing

Scrap Flowers are always useful ♥

Use them as a brooch, for a headband, jazz up your shoes or your bag. Embellish gifts or letters, use them as bag charms or keychains! The possibilities are (almost) endless ♥

Here, leftover cotton yarn was used (Catania - 10 g per flower) with a 2.5 mm crochet hook. The flower then has a diameter of about 7 cm.
But basically, any leftover yarn can be used with the appropriate crochet hook
- the flowers will simply turn out smaller or larger (then
the button must of course be larger too).
