Not exactly for beginners ... so you should know how to knit lace patterns for this scarf. But you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful piece that can be worn as a wide scarf or as a shoulder shawl. Its charm comes from a sea of flowers that runs along its entire length.

You can find the pattern here.

To make this pop-up birthday card, you should already have some crafting experience. If you’ve made pop-up cards before and understand the concept, you’ll be able to recreate it with ease.

The card is made of cardstock and construction paper and measures approximately 21 x 10.5 cm when folded.

Crochet in reverse / Tunisian crochet

From my shop stjerne61 crochet patterns for potholders.

The potholders shown are worked in Tunisian simple stitch; the patterns include a practice section for it, or visit my blog, click here and you can try it out first—give this great crochet technique a try.

The motifs are worked in directly from a chart, and the backs are crocheted in half double crochet.

Knitting pattern for the triangular shawl + poncho with lace pattern and waves - click here

This triangular shawl, which can also be worn like a poncho, is a really lovely challenge. The lace pattern with the waves makes it a real eye-catcher and it looks great for any occasion.

The knitting pattern describes all the steps in detail and includes lots of photos. Nevertheless, I recommend it for advanced knitters.

To crochet these two pot holders, you should already have some crocheting experience, as they are worked in tapestry crochet. Although this technique is explained in the pattern, working with multiple skeins can be unfamiliar for beginners.
The pattern is worked from a chart, but there is also a color table in which each row is described stitch by stitch.
The effort is worth it: the result is two original pot holders that not everyone has!

Ayana Half-Moon Shawl Challenge

-- to the pattern --

You certainly won’t get bored crocheting this half-moon shawl—the stitches themselves are easy to crochet, but the pattern changes in every row, so you’ll have to pay close attention :-)

The pattern is comprehensive—it includes a crochet chart for all rows, a written description of all rows (with photos for each row), and a short version of the description without photos for printing.

What you’ll need:
  • Sock yarn in 2 coordinating colors (210 m / 50 g)
    • 95–100 g Color 1—lilac
    • 55–60 g Color 2 – purple
  • 1 5 mm crochet hook
  • 1 sewing needle or embroidery needle for weaving in the ends
What you should know:
  • Chain stitches
  • Slip stitches
  • Single crochet
  • Double crochet
  • Treble crochet

This strawberry is actually easy to make, but it definitely requires some crafting skills. So it’s a big advantage if you’ve already successfully completed a few craft projects and aren’t a complete beginner in this area.

The tea light holder is made of cardstock and is about 10 cm tall. You can also use it as a container, since there’s room inside for a few small items.
