Flamingo Frieda Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Flamingo Frieda loves summer, sun, the beach, and more—and she’ll really get you in the summer spirit. Frieda is perfect as a shelf sitter or simply as a decoration. This pattern is also great for beginners in amigurumi crocheting!

14-page crochet pattern including many step-by-step photos

Difficulty Level: Easy—you should be familiar with the basic crochet techniques (single crochet, double crochet, decreases, and increases...). It is mainly crocheted using single crochet.

What You’ll Need
  • Approx. 40g of yarn in pink, approx. 15g in gray; both suitable for a 2mm crochet hook. 100% cotton is best, as it makes the flamingo nice and sturdy (e.g., Lana Grossa)
  • Scraps of white and black yarn for the beak, and pink and green for the flower. These scraps should be suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • 2mm crochet hook
  • 6mm safety eyes or black thread
  • stuffing
  • Craft wire
  • Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers

Lennox the Lion Crochet Pattern
Click here to go directly to the crochet pattern

Hello everyone!! My name is Lennox, and I’m a small but proud little lion cub. I’m about 12 cm tall and an absolutely reliable and loyal companion who will always make you smile! I’m house-trained and hardly create any work for you around the house. Overall, I’m very independent and perfectly suited to become your new cuddle buddy ;-)What you should be able to do
  • Crochet single crochet stitches in spiral rounds
  • Make a magic ring
  • Slip stitches
  • Sew the individual pieces together
  • General basic crochet skills
A 25-page crochet pattern with lots of pictures for every step. I won’t leave you in the lurch when it comes to sewing the individual pieces together either.

Difficulty level: Easy, although you should have worked in spiral rounds before. What you’ll need:
  • Approx. 20g of yarn (Schoeller Stahl Zimba medium in color 0218) in the color you want your lion to be. The yarn should be suitable for a 3mm crochet hook (Schoeller Stahl recommends a 3.5mm hook, but it can be crocheted very well with a 3mm hook)
  • Approx. 20g of yarn for the lion’s mane (I used eyelash yarn, but it also works great with normal leftover yarn).
  • White leftover yarn suitable for a 2mm crochet hook
  • Brown yarn for the nose
  • Safety eyes (8 mm)
  • Stuffing
  • Scissors, darning needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Pins to secure the individual limbs before sewing them together

Kiki is a particularly curious squirrel, because it even ventures into your apartment to find a few nuts or something else to snack on. Welcome it kindly into your home, because it is very tame and likes to be petted.

To crochet Kiki, you’ll need:
  • about 25 g of reddish-brown cotton yarn (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr, LL = 125 m/50 g)
  • a long-haired fringed yarn in a similar color for a bushy tail. (I used Peppina by Lana Grossa, since it’s quite easy to work with despite its long fringes and turns out nice and bushy.)
  •  You’ll also need scraps of black cotton,
  • possibly safety eyes (unless you want to embroider them on),
  • stuffing
  • and possibly a Kinder Surprise egg capsule that you can fill with sand or rice to shift the squirrel’s center of gravity so it doesn’t tip backward.
Kiki also makes a lovely fall decoration! You can find the pattern here!

Purzel is a cute bunny who isn’t just around for Easter. He can also act as a messenger of love and deliver a little surprise for your loved one in his pink basket.

Purzel is crocheted from soft, fluffy yarn. So you can still see the stitches clearly, I recommend using a thin cotton yarn as a carry-along thread. In the pattern, you’ll find even more tips for crocheting with fluffy yarn. So go ahead and give it a try—it’s definitely worth it, because Purzel turns out incredibly soft and cuddly!

Nico, the cuddly rhino

Little Nico loves to cuddle and is happy to come along on every dream journey. To be able to crochet Nico, you should have experience with amigurumi crochet, since you won’t be working only with the “normal,” evenly round shapes.

  • a small leftover of NATURAL (appliqué)
  • a small leftover of WHITE (horn)
  • some black embroidery thread for embroidering the eyes and mouth
  • stuffing
  • 1 crochet hook size 3
  • stitch marker (alternatively, leftover yarn, paper clip, etc. will also work)
  • 1 sewing needle/embroidery needle for sewing the individual pieces together
  • pins – optional, to help with sewing togetherThe rhino can also be crocheted with a different yarn – just note that the size and amount needed may then change.

What you should know:
  • chain stitches
  • single crochet incl. increases and decreases
  • slip stitches
  • crocheting in spiral rounds and rows
  • magic ring / Magic Ring
  • color changes
  • double crochet
  • treble crochet

Crochet pattern for the Guardian Bear—click here

Crochet pattern for the Guardian Owl—click here

This owl and the little bear aren’t just cute—they’re also extremely useful and especially popular with kids. That’s because they guard the room door. This makes for a unique gift they’ll really love. Of course, parents will be happy about it too, since there are plenty of reasons to want some alone time. ;-)

Both door hangers are easy to crochet, even for beginners with basic skills. The instructions for each little animal show all the steps, some with photos.

Note: My shop also offers a discount bundle with both patterns.

This cute little sleeping bear for babies is waiting for you to knit it. What could be nicer for your baby or grandchild than a stuffed animal you knitted yourself!

The pattern is optimized for beginners (with basic skills). The bear is easy to knit; there are no abbreviations in the pattern, and detailed photos show you how it’s done.

By the way, it’s also a great summer project to work on in the garden or on the patio.
