I’m halfway done with the birthday shawl for my coworker.
On the side, I’m secretly crocheting a gift for my daughter. She’s getting a pillow for her birthday. But I can only work on it in the evening, when she’s asleep.
This morning I finished making the clothes for my mom’s doll. Right now I’m working on the doll’s hair. At the same time, I’m crocheting a light blue tunic to go with the finished summer pants, switching back and forth between the two because attaching the hair is so boring.
Yesterday I cast on the stitches for a pair of socks (a project for when I’m on the go) on my CraSyTrio needles, and today I knitted the first few rounds on the train and while meeting up with two coworkers.
I also finished the body of the seal while watching TV in the evening. I have another train ride planned for tomorrow, so the sock should grow a bit, and in the evening I’ll pick up the seal again—it should be finished this week.
I’ve ordered the CraSyTrio needles too, and I’m looking forward to knitting with them. My first project will be a wrist rest for using the mouse on the computer. My son asked for one because he thinks mine is so practical.
Then I’ll knit a headband and a pair of summer pants for a baby.
I’m knitting my summer stole, and I’ve also started crocheting the “Nice to Have” shawl. And as always, I have a pair of socks and a phone case in the works... so it’s definitely not boring.
